Watching the news this morning makes me want to cry though did just see a police officer twat some guy on the head which made me smile
 
Morning all. Hardly slept last night. Shocked by developments.

This morning every parent of a youth who was out last night needs to take responsibility. Check your kid's rooms for any sudden new products, report them and get them on lockdown for tonight. The police can only do so much. Take some fecking responsibility for your thuggish spawn!!

Sad thing is that I bet LOADS of the parents probably encouraged their kids to get out there and will use the stolen goods themselves rather than handing them in and reporting their kid. If I EVER found that Fin had played a part if something like this you BET I'd march him straight down to a police station and report him myself!

Am I the only one thinking that this is a result of a generation of lazy parents? We all know the kind of kids who've been doing this. The ones that hang around the local shops and yell at old women or ask you to buy fags for them. The ones that smash up a bus-stop for fun.

Why aren't they taught that this is wrong, why are the parents allowing this behaviour to continue?

This is council estate mentality suddenly shown to it's true extent!
 
I tossed and turned all night :nope: drove to work this morning and it was awful, places smashed up, burned down, mess everywhere!

I hope that its the end but I do doubt it.

Nothing on the news about Nottingham, Just London, Liverpool, Birmingham and Bristol.

I agree!

It is a minority though, it wont seem like it atm but its a small percentage.

Does anyone think it's very sad that it takes something like this for the majority of the nation to back the police again :wacko:

AGREE!! Liam is going to have very strict parents. I'd do more than drag him to the police station if I found out he ws ever involved in anything like this!


I heard on sky news that they don't want to bring in the army because it will look like we can't control our own country...THEY ARE OUR BLOODY ARMY SO WE WILL BE CONTROLLING OUR OWN COUNTRY!!
 
The olympics should have never been given to London. We cant cope with it on a good day.
I work just outside the olympics and I have to change my hours at work to help with congestion, my boss had a meeting with our Market Authority and we have to do deliveries before 5am!!
 
I agree! It is lazy parents. Most of those scumbags out last night were no more than 20 years old! There was a boy in Croydon of 10!!! What the hell is he doing out at that time!
 
It was common when I worked at The Disney store for scum parents to send thier child as young as 4 to rob from us. Those children will be about 10-15 now. I once caught on and his own mother said he wasnt hers 'nothing to d with me' because he had been caught. He was in a huge amount more trouble for being caught than he was for stealing

TIs generations of SCUM! Teaching thier children and others to e SCUM. They have more and more of these little versions of themselves to keep thier benefits high. Then tey go out in gangs and destroy peoples lives.

Really awful to see all this on the news this morning. I really do hope that you and your loved ones are all safe.

I know people are shocked by the young age of some of the people involved but it really doesn't shock me at all. As a teacher I have seen this happening over quite a long period of time. Sadly when teachers speak out we are often dismissed as not being able to do our jobs and control the kids (doesn't seem like the police can either though) or as interfering in family life. It is a very sad reflection of the breakdown of morals, discipline and society in general.

I know it is the DM but if they are actually stopping people and stealing their clothes then I am actually lost for words.
 
I don't think it's 'lazy' parents, I think it's a total sub culture of people who have no respect for law or society.

Once all of this is over I hope Cameron asks himself what the fuck has happened to make people behave in this way. These people have nothing to lose and that is why they're acting like such animals.
