So whats happening there atm? Has it all calmed down for now or are their riots going on as we speak?

I don't think anything's happening atm, but I expect it to all kick off around 8pm, maybe less in London (because of the 16,000 strong police presence) but in all other areas, especially ones who's special units have been sent to London (26 other places have sent units up to London today).

Apparently redhill is being cleared now, and crawley is being evacated too... thats both sides of me now. Im shitting it. We live a minute from gatwick what if they start at there... we are within walking distance of the airport.

These teens think they are so hard done by, the only reason why they are stopped and searched is because some of them carry weapons, the police are there to protect.

Really parliament needed to do more and not reconvine on thurs, like the chap was just saying on BBC news this is the time to come down hard and use the army, give the rioters a run for there money, something they won't expect. Does this not make sense, I think when Boris was trying to talk he got a bit of stick for no reason and didn't get much of a chance to speak and just also seemed shocked by last nights riots and whats been going on

What would this say about our people, shotting the looters though. I see what your saying but this would make us as bad as them. A line needs to be drawn somewhere to make them stop and I def say the army, but certainlly not guns as we have seen the poor 26 year old who has died in result of a gun shot, just not worth it.
