All these riots everywhere!!!

Now Boris is getting out what he wanted to say and I agree with him, he is right

I think its gone on long enough. The pm says he doesnt want to use force ie water cannons, plastic bullets. I say blast the lot of them with a good cold dose of water, theyll soon disperse. If not shoot the buggers with plastic bullets, i mean ffs theyre hurting innocent people. Invading homes, stealing!!! X

More reports than I can keep track of right now, but almost all of them are reporting that shops, bars, businesses, etc are closing, or being told to close by police. Police are apparently warning people to steer clear of Wolverhampton city centre, Chelmsley Wood shopping centre, Northfield, Jewellery Quarter, Broad St, Dudley and West Bromwich.

It appears as if these are mostly precautionary as there’s “a strong possibility” of trouble in these areas and police are monitoring the situation. Remember, it’s not guaranteed that there definitely will be. If you absolutely have to go to these places for any reason, try and get what you need done in daylight hours. And if you don’t need to go there, then don’t! Be as vigilant as possible and be careful.

Also, I just filmed a piece for Midlands Today that they might be showing at 6PM or so, although if there’s serious trouble by that time it may not get shown.

:nope:

See i get all this tidying up, but this will sound awful, if theres going to riots again tonight everything will get rashed again and will be back to square one again and the poor community will have to start again

Richard Bacon's BBC 5 live programme.
"None of us really know what's driving it. It's not rioting for any political reason, it's not rioting for any social motivation, it's not even rioting for a materialistic reason because once the lootings done why set fire to the building? And that to me, gives some sort of indication that people don't feel socially connected to the environment they're in."

Crikey I just went to wash the pots and came back to a shedload more pages!

LOL, i put my son to bed for his nap and started reading this thread, an hour later i still hadnt finished, so skipped to the end.

Its totally crazy and scary, and im sorry there is no excuse for that sort of behaviour! No one has made these people do what they have done, they are just robbing, hurting innocent people. I dont understand it.

Clearly more action is needed, i have no idea why more force isnt being used, its needed, its speading. I dont want this to be normal life from now on, people need to learn there are conciquences to every action, they might thing throwing a brick through someones window doesnt "hurt" anybody, but it does.

liverpool one is being shut early to let staff get home before kick off, ive told paul i want him to leave then aswell, im not having him put his life in danger for £20 wagesx

Yes but the public spirit, those people getting out there and cleaning up are making a statement that the thugs are NOT going to win, I think it's wonderful

there was a report last night that showed a couple
of teenagers moving burning bins etc out of the road so cars
could get through

it's good to see people coming together to help
obviously it wont stop them but it's a step forward

Shops in most areas round here already shut :( My ears are permanently ringing from the hundreds of police, fire and ambulance sirens passing here in the past 3 days, heard people boarding up something here but not sure what xx

What do they mean it's going to get really serious and bad? Do they mean a police retaliation? x
