Finally called it a riot & confirmed costs can be claimed if not insured
I'm pleased with his speach today! Nice to see Labour saying they stand shoulder to shoulder on this.
I really do hope they dont cut the police force.
I'm glad the businesses that need it will have funds available.
I agree 100% that the Government have failed.
But this country will always put their families first before others. It doesnt mean they dont want to help in thei community. I help in mine but ultimately I am going to do what I can for my family.
These teenagers say they did it cos they want the police off their backs, they want to be left alone and stopped being pulled up and searched all the time. Stop carrying knives and guns and acting like your some ghetto criminal and then you wont be stopped. The police pull them over because they are trying to protect a the community.
I have been pulled over many a time because I look young (insulting at 24) they thought my car was stolen because it was brand new and the officer thought I was still in school. I just let them do what they were doing and I was soon on my way. Sometimes people think they are being treated like shit cos they are so defensive.
So ... they are still cutting police budgets?
Yup - That's what he's currently saying xx
BBC news mentioned about a 14 yr old girl handed in by her uncle who found her with stolen goods. THAT's what we like to see!!!
Did anyone see the story about the children's hospital in birmingham/nottingham (I can't remember which)? I don't think i've seen it mentioned but may have missed it.
Apparently police and hospital staff linked arms and made it clear no one was getting in. Supposedly there were 20 thugs outside all armed with knifesI read it in the paper yesterday morning. Good on them sticking together!
