All we want for Christmas is a BFP! December Testing Thread! 19 BFPs!!

Rooster100 :hugs: sorry to hear about your diagnosis! I really hope it doesn't affect your TTC hun!

I've not started my OPKs yet this month because I forgot to bring them away this weekend :dohh:
We were in a bookshop in Tralee yesterday and I caught OH in the fertility section looking at What to Expect :cloud9: He said he wanted to see what else there was to it other than just having sex

Hope you enjoyed your weekend away! I haven't been down that end of the country in a while - must look into booking something ourselves! Although can't imagine DH reading What to Expect or reading in general. He might Google a few things. Even though What to Expect is inside on my bookshelf

Hiya!!

May I join you guys?? TTCing again right after MC.

So hopefully I ovulated when I think I did.

Will be testing on the 8th! Thanks!! :D

And :dust: to everyone! :D

So sorry to hear about your loss :hugs: & :dust:

It was my first time down that way since 2003! :) Whereabouts are you from? I'm down in Waterford :) We stayed in Killarney and visited Tralee and Kenmare, did a bit of the ring of Kerry, forgot how amazing Ladies View is!! Took the N71 home so went to all the little villages in West Cork. Will have to go back in the summer :)

Hi everyone, I'm new to this board and due to test on the 9th so thought I'd join in with you girls if that's ok?

I had an extra long cycle of 59 days last time (I'm usually around 32 days) and lots and lots of :bfn:
it was so frustrating, so used CB ovulation test this cycle so at least I know I've definately ovulated!

Good luck to all you ladies testing soon!

AFM, still waiting for O to come around...*twiddles thumbs*

Welcome girls :)
Damn I keep forgetting to pee on my OPKs when I go to the loo!! Will start properly tomorrow!!

I'm from Meath. Can you believe I've never done the Ring of Kerry? I must put that on the bucket list! We were in Kerry twice in the last few years but once was for a friends singing competition & once we hardly left the hotel because it was so nice! The spa was AMAZING!! (The hotel was The Brehon - I'd definitely recommend it!)

We were in Cork last July & it was so lovely! We went out to Cobh & Fota - we had a great time there!

I'm here now bugging DH to go away for a weekend!! He's looking at me like I'm mad - we're not long back from Galway & Donegal. I sound like I really get around!! :haha:

I've never done the full thing so I've decided we are going back and doing it this summer :)
Oh I'm so jealous I really wanted to stay at The Brehon but they were fully booked :( We stayed at the Riverside which is about a minute away it was nice.

I love Fota! It's so much fun. I'd love to stay in Fota Resort sometime it's meant to be fab!

I'm so jealous of all your travels haha :) I've been wanting to go to Galway for ages and hopefully we should make it up there in the new year as most of OH's friends got a job in a company up there recently (they all worked with me in TalkTalk) so now we have an excuse to go up and can crash at their house if we don't have the cash for a hotel :haha:

Aw no! I'm so sorry to hear that you worked in TalkTalk! Have you got anything sorted yet? One of my best friends & my cousins OH worked there too. I lost my job myself over the summer. DH is probably going to be losing his job too but hopefully not for another year or more.

The hotel we stayed in when we were in Galway was nothing special but the food was pretty good although it was in a "blink-and-you'll-miss-it" village. However, I would definitely recommend taking a trip out to Kylemore Abbey - it's absolutely stunning! It is a bit remote though - it's out in Connemara.

I'd love to stay in the hotel at Fota too but I'd say it costs a fortune!! It looks amazing!

If you get back to Kerry I hope you get to stay in The Brehon but definitely make sure you get time to visit the spa! :happydance:

Glad to have you back dizzy, I really hope this stupid endometriosis is not going to stop me TTC. Going to a specialist doc tomorrow to hopefully be told I'm going to be fine! I have already been told that as I got pregnant before its a good thing! But there is an increased chance of m/c :(
I live in Dublin but am actually from the uk (DH is Irish!) have never been to Kerry, although I have heard it's beautiful so I must try and make the trip over.
Glad to see there is lots of December testers! In the two week wait now. Wouldn't it be much better if it wa like a 4 day wait? 2 weeks is a long time and sometimes I feel I'm wishing my life away. Feel alot less hopeful now with this diagnosis- almost wish I didn't know. X

I know what you mean! Although I find the last couple of days the worst - the closer I get to testing the harder I find to think of anything else!

And I also know what you mean about wishing your life away - my Nan passed away over the summer & she used to always tell me not to be wishing my life away! She'd definitely have strong words with me if she knew how much I've been doing that lately!

Karry I haven't found anything else yet :( There's not really a lot here and there's so many people out of work!
Sorry to hear about you and your OH's jobs hun. My OH almost lost his job at the same time as me but got a different job straight away thank god!
Rooster you definitely have to take a trip down it's just beautiful! :)

I did an OPK last night and this morning and got some really faint lines that only came up after about 5 mins so hopefuly I've just not Ov'd yet and I haven't missed the surge!!!

Went to see a doc today. Says the endometriosis is not too severe. Should concieve within a year and if not for a lap then. So fingers crossed for bfp again girlies!

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Although, on the plus side (if there is one) is that now you know what the problem is. Now hopefully you can fix it or help it somehow. It sucks knowing, I'm sure, but better than have that "unexplained infertility" diagnosis where they have no clue what's wrong with you. Good luck!

Oooh rather excited! Basically I am CD 21 today and thought I was out as CBFM has not shown peak (it didnt last month either) and we havent been able to dtd that much. Last month I only had a 27 day cycle when usually I have 35 day cycles.

Yesterday I did an OPK to try and work out whats going on. Today I have felt so ill. Really dizzy, feeling sick and lots of stomach pains. Did another OPK and compared with yesterday, todays is darker but not as dark as control. So would seem I am not out just yet just going to have a longer cycle.

Hope you are all doing well.

Rooster100 that's good news! :) Fx'd for a speedy bfp!! :dust:
Mrs S-M yay for not being out!! :)

I know what you mean - I'm the same. Being a housewife at the minute - hopefully I'll get a promotion to a stay at home mommy soon!

I know you'd obviously prefer not to have it at all but that's good news! At least it's not too severe. I hope you get your BFP really soon :hugs:
