My sister had the same issue, her in laws had decided that they were coming to the hospital as soon as she was there. She decided to have taxi money aside and not tell anyone when she went into labour. The announced the birth of my niece a few hours later when they had time together and we're happy for people to arrive. Could you do similar and tell them when you are home? It may save the worrying of them possibly being outside x
