Am i doing it wrong?

Hi everyone, I know the new guidelines are that you should make up every feed as you need it but is it really neccesary? I have been making up my bottles the same way as i did for my son and he was always fine.
I sterelise 6 bottles in the morning, add cooled boiled water and put them in the fridge till needed. When LO wants a feed i heat up the boiled water to body temp and then add the powder. I have read on here though that the powder needs to be added to boliling water to sterelise it. Just wondered if i am doing it really wrong or what everyone else does?

I make them all up in advance each morning, store them in the fridge & reheat them when I need them - never had any problems with doing that xx

I add the powder to water thats boiled after bout 20 mins cool down then store.. but i know alot of people that do it your way

Yup I do the same.

Have always made 6 bottles up, put them in the fridge then reheat when needed. Apparently your not supposed to do this but I stopped steralizing bottles at 6 months which you are advised not to do till they are about a year old. You know your baby. A lot of these guidelines are just to cover the company themselves.
