Still no AF, lol she hasnt shown her ugly face.

I have an ultrasound scan tomorrow so will know more then.

Worried though, doctors think maybe I am but its ectopic.

Least I will know for definate for tomorrow.

hey girls.
had my internal ultrasound and she said there were no sign of any pregnancy atm
However, she did say that it doesnt show on these scans until after 5 weeks and with some women its even longer. She said as I have been having positive and negatives, it means theres a huigh chance I might be so there definetly not ruiling it out.

The woman also said she found some follicles on my ovary which might mean I have or am getting Polycystic ovaries
I dont get the proper results for another week or two so will know more then.
However, AF is still a no show and I really still believe I am pregnant.
The waiting game is still on....

Hey girls.

I am just wondering would PCOS cause false positive or negative results on a pregnancy test?
I have been having negative and positive results. At the ultrasound they couldnt see a baby but said it could be too early as I have no idea when I would have ovulated due to recently coming off the pill.

Hi there emmakay!!
Hope you're doing ok! Thought I would share my experience!
A couple of years ago we were trying for baby number 2 and I was two weeks overdue before I even got a positive test! Actually changed my doc coz I had gone in 1 wk late and he was of no help at all. New doc sent me for blood hcgs and a scan. hcg in blood confirmed pregnancy, but levels were low and not rising properly. Scan found no sign of a pregnancy. I was devastated. Was sent to hospital coz they thought it was ectopic too. Ended up miscarrarying so they think it was a chemical pregnancy. Was horrible being in limbo tho, knowing i was preg, but also not knowing what was going on!!
Really hope you get a better result than I did, but thought i would tell what happened to me.
On a positive note, got pregnant the very next month and had a beautiful healthy daughter last april.
I recommend you go in for a blood test if you can, to see if your hcg levels confirm the pregnancy, and to check that they are doubling every 2-3 days.

The doctors havent been very helpful with me either. They havent done any blood results because everytime I go to the doctors they do a pregnancy test there and its negative! But everytime I do a home one now, I get a positive or a faint positive.

I havent done one in a while now, feels like im just wasting money. But still AF hasnt shown her face and its been 8 weeks now!

I am starting to think maybe all this is just the PCOS x

I reckon take one of your tests with you and demand a blood test. Just tell them its driving you crazy, and you just need to know either way! At least then they will get a qualitative number and be able to tell you a bit more about what is going on. The good news s, if it was ectopic, you would probably know by now, coz you would be in extreme pain. (friend of mine has had one) I think things usually go wrong with ectopics around 6weeks.

Hi EmmaK I was just reading your thread (found it while searching for being pregnant but having negative blood tests) and was just wondering how you are doing and if you have any news yet? Did you get a blood test? You know you can even go to a free clinic or the health department and just tell them that you have positive pregnancy tests and you want to confirm with a blood test and they should do it for you. Alot of times your own Dr. doesnt want to do things like that after other tests because they hate being wrong, and even asking them again would make me feel like I was bugging them. But its your right to know!!! Good luck and please keep us updated!!

I am waiting for a blood test had a lot on lately so not been able to just jump to the doctors quickly.

I know the doctors havent been very helpful which is kind of irritating as it is stressing me out the not knowing.

Just tried doing another test, a cheapie one as this was the one i got my first positive with but it is invalid, well atm

How annyoing!! Just want to know now. I had a feeling to test today dont know why but something was telling me too. I really thought AF had finally showed her face this morning but nooo was just like watery, white discharge alot of it lol sorry it TMI.
