They say one in four pregnancies are unsuccessful. I think it's pretty common to have an egg fertilised, and there be some kind of unexplained problem with it attaching to the lining, therefore causing your period.
Really sorry. I totally understand how you must feel.

i know how you feel - exactly the same thing happend to me back in feb/march. its very common to be pg and then, for whatever reason, to lose it. i doubt the test was faulty....just look after yourself and plan for next month! i promise the weeks will fly by and before you know it you'll be in the 2ww again

Thanks. We want a baby so much (this is our 2nd we are trying for) but I just feel a bit disheartened at the minute for trying again - the disappointment feels to much to bare. Did you feel like this? I know I'm going on a little about it but just so disappointed.
