Amelia Macy has arrived :)

My yellow bump has turned into a beautiful girl Amelia Macy.

I was induced on Sat 28th due to raised BP....it was a long process and things didn't get started until Monday when had waters broken and syntocinon drip started. I went with gas and air for as long as possible but had an epidural after 4 hours of the drip....the gas just wasn't enough by then!
I had to have a forceps delivery in theatre as Amelia was showing signs of distress and I'd been pushing for nearly 2 hours. I then proceeded to lose a litre of blood so am now not only exhausted but anaemic too. Despite this it was all worth it and Amelia made her appearance on 31.5.11 weighing 6lbs13oz.

These early days are bloomin exhausting and bf is soo tiring but very satisfying
