Hi everyone, I'm just on hoping for some reassurance maybe. Anyway I had my first EP on Dec 14th and lost my left tube. I felt no pain up until the point my tube ruptured. I'm now 5w 4d and have convinced myself I'm having another EP. I've been having slight niggles on my right side and I have no pregnancy symptoms, none that stand out anyway. I have been getting a BFP since 12DPO. I'm just so confused as to how my tubes became blocked tbh. I have a little boy who is 9. My little girl was born asleep on August 30th at 21weeks. She had spina bifida. Could something have happened then that blocked my tubes? Any replies would be much appreciated. Thanks. Forgot to mention I have a scan on May 1st. Although I'm worried I could rupture before then.

I had and ectooic pregnancy. It was my very first pregnancy. i had the same worries as you did. But I fell pregnant naturally with my son after it with no issues - and bizarrely it turned out if ovulated from the same side my ectopic had been on. Now I had been lucky enough to retain my tube but I did presume that any egg released fro that side would result in another ectopic as I imagined that tube must have some kinda blockage, but it appears not. We were ttc number 2 this year and fell pregnant in march. It wasn't ectopic but sadly I did miscarry. Anyway I guess an ectopic doesn't necessarly mean your tube is blocked it could be the egg just never made it to the right place or implanted too soon. I think it's natural to worry that the same will occur again and having that one sided pain can be normal in a healthy pregnancy too due to corpus leuteum cyst- or pain can be caused by scar tissue left over from previous ectopic. I will say that I think you should be having a scan at 6 weeks to check pregnancy location which is something that I had in both my pregnancies following the ectopic and the early pregnancy centre say I will continue to require 6 weeks scans with every following pregnancy due to being at slightly higher risk of another ectopic and see u have a scan today in fact! Hope that has gone well? Six weeks would be too soon for rupture I believe (this is what I was told) as it wouldn't be big enough as yet to cause that. Anyways I hope today has gone well! Sorry I dissent see your post sooner to offer reassurence!
