Any April Mummies? 165 so far! [all welcome]

Our miracle baby is due on 9th April 2010. I don't know if it's okay for me to be here because I am not carrying the baby myself - my friend and surrogate Sharon is the one who is actually pregnant - but it is me who is going to be a Mummy after 15 years of trying

We have our 20 week scan in a fortnight. Sharon started feeling flutters like bubbles popping 2 or 3 weeks ago but this week has felt definite kicks.

It is so amazing.

I hope I'm welcome as a mummy to be even tho I'm not physically pregnant!!

How incredibly exciting for you!! Of course you are more than welcome here - I imagine that Sharon is sharing so much of her pregnancy with you you'll be pretty much going thru everything we are anyway!

my baby is due april 3rd. my bump is still pretty tiny, bigger in the evenings when i do actually look a bit pregnant! i'm a personal trainer though so i expect having fairly strong stomach muscles is keeping the bump hidden for a while. no flutters yet either is anyone else going through the same thing?? x

I'm possibly going to be late March.

EDD by scan is 19th April which consultant wrote in notes so midwife said best to go with what he has written.

Unless SPD improves (currently getting worse), I'm looking @ induction @ 37 weeks which could be around the end of March.

I was thinking - should this thread be in second tri? Or should we see if we can get it moved to the Pregnancy Buddies section? It would save starting a new one next tri...
Just a thought.

How is everyone getting on? I have made it past the complete exhaustion period, and am generally feeling good these days. I think I have felt some movement, in the evenings, which is great - I wasn't expecting it till later because of anterior placenta, but this is my second pregnancy so maybe that's why?

my uterus is very near the front of my body so ive been feeling proper taps for a few days now, and tons of movement after orange juice/anything citrus-y!


meanwhile i am ECSTATIC to report that i JUST fell in love with my LO and it is the most amazing feeling ever! i am having a 3d/4d scan 2 days b4 thanksgiving and i was watching a video clip of one---im now over the moon!!! i was having a hard time connecting to the little alien changing my figure and OH and i were going thru a tense time but now i feel the love INDEPENDENTLY of how things are with him! i cant wait to find out wat im having and have my bundle of joy here!

HOW COME U ALL DIDNT TELL ME IT FELT THIS AMAZING!! I WANNA KISS MY BUMP BUT I CANT REACH IT! lol
