Any girls that are temping?

Are any of you girls temping? Im so by mine and im scared to read too much into them as I know they way im reading them is impossible!! Right well I started temping again 9th feb to which it started of normal 36.5, so I thought it would drop ready for the but it hasnt all it has done is risen so far 9th was 36.5, 10th was 36.5 (was taken slightly earlier than normal), 11th was 36.7, 12th and 13th was 36.9, 14th, 15th and 16th was 37.0 and today 17th was 37.1 but im not ill so why the hell is it so high? Can any of you girls shed any light on it, if I didnt know different I would think I was pg with them temps but I know its not possible and I dont even have any sticks to pee on for fun just in the name of science to make sure thanks girls xx

been there done that it didnt work... my temp is ment 2 drop if ur period came.. it never dropped untill 3 days after i started... hmmm it doesnt always work for everyone

Well mine normally works but just lately have had crazy high temps

Sorry to gatecrash but just wondering if there's any chance you've just ovulated? Did the doctor give you something to bring on ? Mine's always dropped for AF too.

Thats ok hun, thanks I have only just recieved my opk's today which I did one and its only just negative so I suppose its possible, yes the doctor gave me Utovlan 5mg which contains norethisterone to bring on I finished the course of tablets monday evening and it says it should show af 3-5 days after. My chart hasn't said I have ov'ed so im just thanks again hun xx

I have tried and it just confuses me. Body just won't 'play ball'.
It might be because of the tablets sweets, throwing your charting out a little. Should go back to readable soon though

Is it possible the pills you are taking mimic the luteal phase & bring on AF when you finish the course?
If so, then that could be why your temps are up.

I'm a serial temp-er, I do it without thinking now & It works just great for me xx

I know medication can affect temping, so that could be the issue. Is this your first cycle temping? Maybe give it another cycle just to see what your body is doing. I temp, and I did get really into it this cycle, but I think its just one tool, and you can't over emphasize it, but it is a good tool to monitor what may be going on in your body. It didn't give me an o date either but i think its because I just started and mid cycle, but u can still guesstimate from my chart. I actually recommend it to you guys, because it may shed light on things like a short luteal phase which is necessary to sustain pregnancy (a long one), or hormonal issues. I've never been able to fathom a pattern in my temps so I'm not sure I can be of any help, but agree that it could be to do with the meds. Also your body is still getting back to normal. I hope you get some answers hon.

I started temping again after my miscarriage and my temperatures have been consistently high while AF was here. They did drop though, and enough for me to show when I ov'd and I had my CBFM to confirm that. I read on FF it's nothing to worry about if your temps remain high while you are on your period as it's due to left over progesterone (is that the right word). Something like that anyway.
