Hi All,

I'm Definitely team curvy!!........225lbs I need to lose those 25lbs to get the Dr to consider giving me Clomid, he says it'll work better at that BMI range and i'd be healthy to carry a child.

C'mon Ladies we can all do it.......-25lbs and counting!!

So now we have a list of members and a count for bfps. It took ages to go through all the posts on this thread! but by my calculations we have 77 different ladies and have had 4 bfps so far!

*phew* I am knackered, glad I have no chance of being PG this month cos I'm gonna drink me some

I'm aiming for 200lbs too - currently 233lbs so a few more to lose. My reasons are we don't qualify for IVF funding on the NHS until I am within that BMI range.

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been MIA for awhile now. I've just been super busy and really tired. Work and school together are just kicking my butt right now. Nothing much to report currently. I'm on CD18 and no ovulation yet, but that is not unusual. I've still been taking my Fertilaid every day so we'll see what happens. Congrats to the women that got their BFPs! You give the rest of us curvy ladies some hope. Also, I think it might be a good idea to make a new thread since Dontworry hasn't replied in ages. We can keep a BFP count and call it team curvy bumps Just post a link in here when you make it. Hope everyone is doing well. Hopefully I'll be a little more active again.

I did think of setting up a new thread so that we could keep track of all the members and bfps but I didn't know if everyone would get upset if we lost the history we've created.

Is anyone here seeing a specialist?? I'm 230 pds and this will be my first time seeing someone (That's a specialist) and would like to know if they said anything about your weight?? I also have PCOS and my husband's SA has not been tested. We are sooooo ready.

yes my docs and the fertility specialist told me to lose weight. In fact I have to loose 43lbs before I even qualify for IVF

it seems the answer to everything is lose weight.

I know how you feel, but I have read with Metroforim (SP?) you can lose weight especially if you have PCOS. I gained/lose weight so fast and it does not help that I love to

My RE moved my apt until monday but that gives me time to save more money. Infertility is expensive

By the charts I'm considered obese although I'm 5 feet 165 pounds ttc is so crazy and confusing. My SIS is the same height 200 pounds and she was fertile mertile could sneeze and get preggers. She has 4 children I'm just asking for one already.

I'm also plus size. I'm 270lbs and have been trying for six months. I've had one miscarriage. I just feel like my weight is the source of all my problems and if I could just lose some I'd have a better chance at becoming a mother. I had a lapband and lost 60 pounds but then it slipped and I had to have it removed and I gained all the weight back.

I'm sorry. Im in a whiny state. I just realized that ivf is probably my only shot and I can't afford it nor will I be eligible because of my weight. Sigh.

Close to 300 but I look about 230 people say as im taller n its carried well. Im 18/20 in US cloths and also a smoker so ttc #1 is a bit complicated statistic wise

Honestly I can think of one friend that doesnt have children under the age of 30. Seems like everyone is waiting for me to join the circle of motherhood! excited to see what the future holds and patiently waiting for God to bless me with a family of my own

I weigh 300lbs and I have been TTC for 3 years now. I am not allowed to be on clomid because of my BMI, so I am trying Soy Isoflavones. Hopefully good things will happen.

I also have PCOS and might try metformin.
