Any TTC #1 taking Vitex? Let's be buddies!

Im taking vitex! I bleed for months on end....but somehow every opk is negative -_- youd thinknif im bleedimg id ovulate but I guess not.

Bythenines, how long have you been taking vitex? It's always possible that it hasn't had enough time to help balance your hormones. I've only been taking vitex for a month. I never had issues with breakthrough bleeding or spotting. My issues are with long cycles- 35 days, 59 days, and 41 days. I'm hoping it will make me more regular and hopefully ovulate more regularly. I am taking Nature's Way Vitex and I'm taking one capsule 3x daily. It's really helped with my CM. Much more watery!

OneLove, Ive had ewcm (which I never had) and more watery cm so I can say yes this cycle with Vitex so far has been positive I dont think you need to chart if you know your body well using signs like cm and cp and also using OPK, for me, I like having the visual aspect of my cycle.

Patience, test with me Xmas Eve! lol, I also had the stabbing pain in my left nipple last night.

Here's my chart girls, its the best chart Ive ever had! 6 more days to go until testing!

Mimi! I'm following your ovulation chart- how did temping go today? When are you taking an HPT? Fingers crossed! Temps look good so far!

I am definitely noticing a difference in my CM. Part of me wishes I knew for sure whether or not I was ovulating. I don't know- maybe I'll pick up the charting. HA!

temps are still up this morning Im taking an HPT on Christmas Eve at 9dpo, I was 8dpo last time I got a bfp in August. thanks for having a look, Im really hoping this is it, me and OH want this so bad!

I'm so glad your cycle is normalising, those crosshairs are the best here's to a nice LP ! Don't tell me you're testing at 8DPO, that's tomorrow for me damnit it's taking all my willpower not to pee on ALL the things ! /o/ It's ridiculous how much I ache, feel like i'm meant to have AF but it's far too early for that. I know BBT only works in the morning but I did feel a little guilty pleasure taking it this evening and it being high I know it means nothing, i'm expecting the descent tomorrow or friday I think I preferred being on the pill, all these emotions are wild !

lol, Im the same way when it comes to testing... I feel like I need to know asap! even if it means wasting so many tests

AFM, my temps are steady at a high temp right now so looking good so far. OMG why does Xmas Eve still feel so far away!

Ooh wow look at those smooth temps! Kinda like me I don't normally get high temps following eachother, it's normally up and down for me, tomorrow is going to decide a lot, 10dpo is always a lower temp problem is it could just mean I am awaiting af next week instead as a 14day lp person would I'm feeling all kinds of odd today, feels a bit like my pre period boobs have kicked in though, I hope they're pregnancy boobs instead!

And bang on time the spotting starts today, 11dpo like clockwork my LP, even with the Fertilitea, i've ordered another bag though ! I think i'd like to read up more on progesterone but the problem is the drs won't listen to someone who's been TTC for just 4months, onto round 5 for me at least lots of crying and hurt today

Late but important update:

It's now bed time on 11dpo, barely any spotting throughout today, so even though AF is coming tomorrow I will have my first ever 12 day LP after a lot of crying and anger today over the sudden turn around, i'm taking back some consolation that i'm VERY sure the Fertilitea helped ! For those who might not have known my previous post:

My OV this month was cd16 (down from cd21 last month) and now i've got 1 more day on my LP So anyone considering the tea to set their cycles straight I can highly recommend

Sorry AF is on her way, but like you said, the longer LP and the earlier O is such a positive sign!

I will figure out how to put my chart in my sig lol but for now here it is just wanted to say that I decided to test Xmas day at 10dpo, only 2 more days to go!

Your char looks great so far good luck testing for a happy bfp Xmas day ! Did your doc put you on progesterone after the MC or did you find something online? I'm always rather gloomy that my post O temps don't seem that high, hope it doesn't have anything to do with my lack of luck so far

So.... I ate my words! Ha ha- I broke down and bought a BBT from FairHaven health. I think they are the same company that produces Fertilaid so I'm hoping it will be a decent BBT. I was going to go ahead and start temping mid-cycle just to have some practice for possibly the next cycle. Jumping right in girls! Hopefully I'll have some success charting.

I love temping gives you little clues that added to other things like cm and cp can help figure things out !

As for me, i'm now on my thirda day of "spotting/very light bleeding" and i'm pretty pissed off and confused, I wouldn't even know which day should be counted as CD1 cuz the flow has been so minimal. Yesterday if anything but it just doesn't seem enough to be a proper period and i'm worried it'll screw up next month i've had an AF that was totally brown which indicates that it's old leftover blood, makes me think next cycle will be bust just cuz i've not shed the lining properly.

I wonder if the Fertilitea has anything to do with this? I actually got pissed off enough when I woke up and had a temp hike, took a test kinda knowing it'd be BFN but i'm just a little frustrated from my screwy AF, don't know if it's due to the Fertilitea or if my body just hates me :/ after an early Ov and what i thought was a longer LP i'm just confused now

I'm TTC #1 and used vitex in October and started again today. I have not had a regular cycle since stopping birth control (spotted this month). I'm not alarmed yet. I've discussed this with my doctor a year ago when we were deciding when we would TTC. I'm waiting until July 2014 to have true worry.

I'm looking forward to sharing this experience.

I am on CD 31. Fingers crossed for a BFP or a shorter and more regular cycle! I have varied from 35 day cycles to as long as 59 days. I did notice more CM and it was watery. I do not temp and do not check my internal CM so I don't know if I ever had EWCM.

hey so CD1 for me here. It was my 1st cycle using Vitex and I only have +ve things to say about it. I had a normal cycle for once (first time since miscarriage) so 30 days and O'd on cd17 with a 13 day lp. Also, when spotting started last night and AF showed this morning, I had no cramps (usually have bad ones) and I had only mild backache (usually my back is killing me I have to lay down). so overall great feedback from me, hoping it will help me conceive this cycle!

Hi all!
Im on cd 27, taking for the first time Fertility Blend - which cointains vitex - I should say that this is the first month since I stopped the pills that I have ewcm. REAL!!! Ewcm clear as water and more than ever. My opks for the first time were clear, with a possitive opk cd25.Since yesterday (cd26) dry as hell, and when bding I felt down there that the cervix was closed and hard...so Hoping I ovulated we will see how much my lp is long, and if I ovulated how it really should be!
What do you think did i ovulate?

Hi ladies! I've been fairly quiet lately... When I was out of town for work I never got a + OPK and havent since but they had been getting lighter so maybe missed my surge.. Anyways temps have been going crazy, and FF hasn't pinpointed Ov... Until 2nd jan..

However, been really unwell for the last 2 weeks.. Nausea, vomiting and also out the bottom end (sorry tmi), hut no temperature and only happening at certain times of the day.. Sooooo did an IC this morning and 2nd line came up .. So thought I'd do a frer and bfn ..

So thats where I am.. Maybe preggo maybe not

I'm going to keep testing over next few days and see what happens!!
