last month me and OH really thought it was our month and i noticed in that short 2 weeks i didnt move if he could help it lol he let me lie in while he got up with the bairn took her downstairs brought me a cup of tea and my book upstairs at 11 oclock and i got told to relax i never stepped down the stairs till after 12 oclock and my dinner was waiting for me when i got down there i couldnt believe it lol

he never admitted it was cause we thought i was pregnant but hes never rushed round after me like that before lol

Anybody else get the feeling that there hubbys will be slightly over protective when your pregnant??

this will be our first together we have his little girl that lives with us but normally i take responsibility over her she lives with us full time and i work part time so iam around the most lol

I think my hubby will be the same way. He already likes getting me something to drink if im in bed and such. But like when im sick or just dont feel good or had a bad day he is already running around me...i can just see when i become prego... he will be going crazy trying to help me :) gotta love having a great man :)

Nope, not a chance! It's a well known fact that my hubby is incapable of organising himself! We'd be eating cheese and crackers and wearing yesterday's shirts if the running of the house was left to him! :haha:

Not sure tbh, my oh doesn't really run after me as it is and he is quite lazy when he's at home (he works full time) doesn't wash his dishes or anything like that, and if I'm not feeling well or something he doesn't do anything unless I ask which I don't mind I suppose. but maybe that's because we are at my parents house and he doesn't feel completely comfortable. We'll be moving out in a couple of months so we shall see if he changes lol.

my oh will help out where he can, but with him being away a lot with the raf it will only be when he comes home at weekends etc. but he does spoil me a lot when he does come back anyway, so will be no change there. although hopefully by the time we do get those two little pink lines we will be living properly back together so he can help out more :)

My OH is already like that, feel a bit bad actually he just seems to like running about after me! Ah well, I give him sex so everyone's a winner. Hahahaah. x

Sounds about like my hubby! Oh well, there are so many other things to love about them... let's just hope for easy pregnancies so we don't HAVE to survive on cheese and crackers for 9 months!! :haha:

My partner will definitely be like that, he runs after me and doesn't let me do much when I'm ill so he'll be like it even more so when I'm pregnant. He really is amazing - cooks most nights, empties the dishwasher and loads it, does the clothes washing on a Sunday; he's incredible, my prince :)

I hope we do! I was ill last year with Norovirus (aka Winter Vomiting Bug), and I was lying in bed in agony, when my hubby dragged me out of bed to help find him some Strepsils because he had a sore throat

It's just as well I love him, otherwise I'd be asking for a refund!! :haha:

That's so funny you mention this. I was standing at the kitchen sink last night after hubby made himself supper (I was out so just him eating) and I was still cleaning up his huge mess he made thinking "when I'm pregnant I'm still going to have to do all this". Ahhh. Love him but never lived with him before we got married and holy did I not realize how much of a "wife" I'd have to be.

I think my OH will be the exact same!!
Im ill at the moment and he hasnt stopped running around after me! Tucking me into bed, making me drinks and toast, going to the shops for me etc etc
I think its really nice! Shows how much they care for us :) x

I don't think my OH will run after me but I think he'll be a heck of a lot more protective of me (he's really protective as it is!) and I reckon that he'll be quite 'normal' like not letting me lift heavy things, etc :)

Isn't it funny how fast they learn how to do things. Makes me laugh.
My DH has not done much but feel bad for me when af arrives. When laying in bed quiet, he knows exactly what I'm thinking and hugs me telling me it will happen soon and that I'm not broken. I asked him a few times if I was when I was really upset.
I do see him doing things when I am. Can't wait to sit back and watch.

I think my OH will be extremly protective of me when I am pregnant this time.
Even the first time round he wouldnt let me move a box or anything - Bless him. I think this time round he'll be the same if not a bit more apprehensive of me doing things.

Gotta love him for caring so much!
