Right ladies up today no cramps no af no nothing..... I do hope it's late implantation but the likely hood is not great at all! I am gonna wait like I said before until mon/tues and go see the nurse and see what she thinks if af still hasn't come x

Aw hun, sounds like you've had a proper rough time of it recently. It must have been hard because I imagine you can't help but grow close to someone in that sort of situation and it's not just like losing your job, it's much more than that.

I know it's not your job but can you not have a quick email/ring around to try and give people a kick up the bum? Use almost a jokey 'just a quick reminder' email or something?

If you're even half as supportive of your family and friends as you are us ladies on here then they'd be crazy to even think about letting you down. I've got every faith that they just forgot about the RSVP because there's no question they wouldn't be there for you.

Try and keep smiling, you'll have an amazing time on Saturday, I just know it

Us girlies will have to have a drink (mainly non alcoholic due to all these bfp's and pending bfp's) in your honour so we'll be there in spirit for you

lol that's funny...i read wikipedia like all the time...but I also feel like if I've experienced something that might be helpful I don't mind sharing it with people...poppy really sounds pg to me...its taking forever for my positive hpt as well...we're just unlucky when it comes to the early bfp! we have to wait it out! not fair

Oh ladies, just been reading and catching up! Sorry you have to wait so long, I think we're all in the same damn confusing boat! I tested this morning, I think I can see a faint line, but it's not as good as the other one. I feel kinda sick this morning, and very constipated (TMI-sorry!) and have a killer headache. No sign of the witch. Just have a lot of creamy cm and cp is high, hard and closed! Starting to wonder if I ovulated later than I thought I did? I just want an answer before Father's Day, you know?

poppy, I think seeing the nurse is a great idea, I might have to go too! I'm 4 days late today, was due on Monday as well. I'm never this late for AF!

schnoodle, I have no earthly clue what a hen night is lmao! A bridal shower is when all of your girlfriends and women family get together before the wedding and give you gifts, play fun games (like making a toilet paper wedding dress on you, and making a bouquet out of ribbons from the gifts and you use it at your rehearsal for good luck), and eat food and drink mimosas or something fun.

Hmmmm, a bridal shower seems a whole lot more civilised than a hen party, lol. A hen party is basically a bride to be's last weekend/night as a single lady. Where you go and what you do depends on the person really. Whichever way you look at it it's normally lots of alcohol and lots of giggles normally with some kind of fancy dress for the bride to be (hen)... For mine we were quite civilised and ended up in Edinburgh and we went to a cocktail workshop, had spa treatments, and on the main night had a big meal, went out to various clubs and maybe went to see The Dreamboys (use your imagination on that one, lol). Do you think that's an ok description Schnoodle?

Well, we have a party like that too! It's called a bachelorette party, and the men are supposed to have one too (bachelor party). Usually the men's party involved strippers, but my fiance and I decided to have all of our friends and us go out drinking together, since neither one is comfortable with the thought of strippers, male or female lmao! (We like to have excuses to party over here lol!)

Our day is August 7th. I'm so excited, but nervous because it's coming so quickly!

Edinburgh, is that Scotland? If so that is amazing! I've always wanted to see Scotland, my ancestors immigrated from there! Family name is Murdock. Maybe someday I'll get around to visiting, that would be so rad!

Oh sorry, my two cents time...

I think anything is possible... You have alot of pregnancy symptoms going on...6-12 days is an average. I'm sure its possible to be a day or two early or late...or even later...I think you're pg, but you're one of the unlucky of us that it takes forever before a positive shows up...

some women it can take weeks before the hcg filters to their kidneys...some women never get a positive, (rare but true) but are still looking at the results of their pregnancy running across their living rooms...
