Anybody had this or know what this is? please help.

Hi girls, just looking for some advice as im having a very weird sensation and pain and wondering if there is a name for it or if something is wrong. basically last night i started to get this horrible pressure feeling on my bum bone or whatever bone is down there, and then i couldnt stand as it felt like something was between my legs like as if baby was in the birth canal as opposed to up more around my belly button. eventually i shifted the pressure by lying down and going asleep last night. this evening however its back and even worse. i actually can't stand as the pressure and pain is so uncomfortable. its not pains like contraction pains or anything it a costant pain that i am getting because of the horrible unbearable pressure feeling. and its not just the usual pressure feeling of baby leaning on bladder or whatever it actually so down low like as if its in my vagina! me and oh DTD tonight and it was really sore for a bit aswell. im kinda concerned as i had an 11lb baby 17 months ago vaginally and it absolutely tore my body apart inside and out and i had to wait a while for my womb to go back up as it was kind of like prolapsed dute to the weight. i'm wondering if my womb is lying exceptionally low now because it can't hold the weight of this baby?? thinking of going into the hospital tomorrow if it stays the same. am due my 22 week scan on monday anyway but i am concerned that if baby is so low down they may put me on bedrest or whatever. i was away for weds and thurs and did alot of walking which had me exhausted but this could hardly cause this pressure could it? especially as its only come yesterday and today and not the days i did all the walking. please let me know what you think. i am in agony when i stand.

Not sure what to say...I haven't experienced this. If you are feeling pressure though as if it's in the birth canal I would definately get looked at by a doctor as soon as you can.

just googled stuff and piles came up. could it be that? has anyone had them, what do they feel like?

I think id be paying my MW or GP a visit today hun, whatever it is it needs sorting even if its harmless, you cant continue the rest of your pregnancy in pain. Good luck hun, let us know how you get on... xxx

Hi hun, I haven't heard of this before. As everyone else has already suggested I would either speak to your mw or dr and see what they say.

I hope the pain and pressure has eased off slightly for you hun and your feeling a bit better.

feeling better actually but probably because i didnt move off the couch the whole weekend. i have a scan today so i'll see if they say baby is v. low or whatever and i might mention the pressure i was having! thanks ladies!!

It could be a prolapsed cervix/uterus or bladder...which means the vaginal walls have weakened and tissues from the uterus or bladder could be bulging into the vaginal canal. Google a couple of those too see if your symptoms match up. Definitely worth a trip to the doctors...oh and I've read a couple of posts from other girls who have had it here...so search here as well.
