I'm a Zumba addict and have been for 2 years lol. Had to stop when I first found out I was pregnant but was able to start back again on Monday :)
How are you all finding exercising with a bump?
I'm loving it tbh and haven't lost much fitness but...everyone is really making sure I'm not overdoing it etc which is lovely but annoying lol I've also got to go low impact which is killing me..

Im somewhere between 10+1 and 12+3 atm and atill gyming. I was running 4 5ks a week in around 22 mins. Im not down to 2/3 5k at atleast 27 mins. Some days i do 1 mile then 5k on the bike.

Im literally just listening to my body. If im tired i stop

I had a harder time with it earlier in the pregnancy when the exhaustion was horrible, but now that I feel like a normal woman again I've been jogging 40 minutes 5 times a week, and doing squats and push ups when I remember to.

I'm a Jillian Michaels addict so I'm going to start the 30 Day Shred Level One back up with some modifications today! I feel like I've gone all squishy and would like to at least tone my arms back up a bit! :haha:

(One day I'll dust off the prenatal Yoga DVD I bought at the beginning of the pregnancy...)

Wow that's amazing!!!

Honestly its really not. With having just had xmas im 3lbs up already. Ive stopped all abb work so my tummys really jiggly and bloated.

Hoping to atleast keep biking if i end up quitting the running

I took ballet classes until around 32 weeks, now walking and doing prenatal yoga. In my last pregnancy I taught dance through end of second tri. Keep going as long as you feel comfortable!

Have started exercising again just this last week! Nothing compared to you ladies though like seriously wow👍

Like kitteh kat I have recently started to feel loads better and have more energy. I just do brisk walking on the treadmill for about 30mins 4 days a week as well as some light weight training and squats just to keep my upper arms and legs toned as they are beginning to feel a bit jiggly hehe

I did some strength training with my hand weights today; hoping to see at least a small improvement with my arm jiggle! :haha:

Hope it works for you too!

I have been making sure to walk half an hour every day on the treadmill, in addition to walks to put my daughter on and get her off of her bus. I feel so much better exercising than I didn't not. I would like to be in better shape after pregnancy than I was before... because I was so lazy. LOL

I am normally a runner (a very slow one, but still) and I like to do high intensity intervals but the first trimester left me so nauseated, I only got out for walks about once or twice a week. Now I'm back to brisk walking and allllmost getting my 10,000 steps a day. Thankfully my husband is walking with me, it's actually been really nice bonding time for us after work each day. I'm going to throw in some squats this coming week now that I'm not sore from all the walking anymore. They will surely help come labor time!

I kept on exercising with my 1st pregnancy. I'm busier now because I work and have a toddler, but try to get to the gym 3 x a week to do basic cardio stuff (bike, elliptical) and a few light weights. Last pregnancy I also did some lunges and might start that now, too, if I don't feel too lazy. :)

I heard it's very good for the baby if you exercise, even a little, because it gets more oxygen into your system.

I'm still getting to the gym 4-5 times a week and doing mostly the same things, just a little lighter; weight training mostly. This week I am really struggling with my balance and losing energy. Workouts that used to take a little over an hour now take 2 :haha: lots and lots of breaks. But, I will say that I always feel great shortly after!

I used to do hiit but got after the habitat after a complication with a miscarriage, where I had to slow down for awhile on drs orders. Im not as fit as i was before the mcs but im probably fitter than a lot of non pregnant women. Now I walk and do light weights at home and am starting pregnancy yoga next week. Getting exercise is great for pregnancy and apparently helps for an easier labour too!!!

I still gym, though I've been favouring swimming recently. I go several times a week and the at least once more with the kids. I have stopped running though as I just don't feel I can go the distance with that anymore. I stopredict running around 6 weeks when my energy really slumped.

I run on the treadmill 4-5 times a week and had found it was getting really hard. About week 8 my 5k had got to 30.43, im starting to feel better now (either 10+ 4 or 12+6 weeks) and yest ran 5k in 22.12.

You may feel ok soon enough to run again. Love running its a real destresser

I take my hat off you you runners...I am sooo not a runner lol tried it last year...and it just wasn't for me
Give me Zumba any day lol I'm doing 3 classes a week and hoping to continue right up until the end. Not finding it too much of a struggle yet but bump is still small.
I do find it hard to motivate myself to get dressed and go especially on a Wednesday when class is at 8-9pm

I was addicted to Zumba for around 6 months prior to falling pregnant but stopped when I found out as I wasn't sure I could still do it. Also a member at our local gym which I've kept at but i'm on low intensity due to a bleed at 13 weeks, so i'm only allowed on the treadmill walking, biking not to hard or the cross trainer on easy mode which sucks but at least I still get something. I've been poorly with cold and a bad chest infection this time around so will be glad when the nice warmer weather comes in :)
