Anyone disappointed with their choice of pram?

I did regret buying my travel system initially but I have now 'unregretted' it :D Its a hauck and the whole travel system costed £200 including as well as the usual raincover et al a carrycot with proper mattress, car seat, changing bag, and two cosytoes (one for the carrycot, one for the pushchair). While the pushchair could be better it is quite sturdy and to be honest a lot better than other very pricey branded pushchairs I have had in the past or pushed babies of friends and family around in, also the basket is very easily accessible and I can get a lot of shopping in there. My only gripes are its not parent facing (but not really a problem as we only go out with it locally anyway) and the seat doesn't recline into many positions. The car seat is great and costs £99+ on its own in most places, and the carrycot was a great bed for LO for 7+ months and folds up so we have been able to store it in OHs wardrobe ready for any future children. I also got it in a rare chocolate brown and turquoise colourway, I have seen the same travel system out and about in other colours and it looks tacky but the brown/turquoise looks really nice and I have never seen anyone else with it. I've read a lot of horror stories about faulty hauck pushchairs so maybe we were just lucky? xx

Got a pushchair, Silvercross pop, dont even get my started, I HATTTEEE ITTT!!

I've just bought my third pushchair and I hate it too! Started with the Britax B Smart 4 which drove me made with my LO constantly slipping down in it. Then when you turn it forward facing it's not very upright and LO hates it. I then forked out for a FF stroller - Cosatto Yo. This is really bad quality and has loads of things that bug me about it. I've now just bought a 2nd hand Quinny Buzz 3 and I'm not entirely sure I like that either! It seems really clunky to put down and change the seat positions. I'll give it a go this week and see if I can get used to it. Otherwise it's back to the drawing board!

I've had the babystyle oyster and regretted it so much, total waste of £260, i then got a baby jogger city mini and its brilliant! :)

I HATED my silvercross 3d with a passion.
Worst purchase ever xx

I've got a Jane matrix light and there is f all light about it, I can barely lift the carry cot/car seat let alone with baby in it and the frame. Travel system for public transport my arse. The car seat shell is so big it doesn't fit in many cars and just about fits in my bfs lil coupee, however my 5 week old was pushed so far forward in car seat mode she was gasping for breath so we have to use it in carry cot mode which takes up the whole of the back seat and uses all the seat belts. The wheels, suspension, fold mechanism and seat release all get stuck and take ages and a lot of giggling about to right themselves. I shouldn't really complain as my bfs parents got it for us, but I feel so let down with it. It was bloody expensive anyway and by the time the 2 rain covers, cozy toes and changing bag were added on it was about £700 :/. And to top it off they sent one with a design on it when it was stated and I wanted a plain one.

Yes but only because the buggy part is forward facing. I have a silvercross 3D and other than that I love it.

i bought the bugaboo bee to start with, i bought the cocoon to make it suitable for newborn.. said to use this until 6 months... by 3 months it was too narrow for him and i had to take it out! was fine for a little longer but it's a bit awkward to collapse and other people kept breaking it when they put it down so i bought a second hand quinny buzz 3. i dont like putting it up and down and find it very awkward to steer, but at least it's big enough for lo. oh wants to get the quinny speedi but i like having lo pf :) will keep looking i guess

We bought a graco travel system & hated it! It was bulky and heavy &
Ugly :-( I genuinely didn't think I'd med to use a buggy that much :dohh:

We bought an iCandy cherry when lo was 3 mths & I adore it! It's so pretty & lightweight. We couldn't afford a new pram & new car seat though so we still use the graco one but never take it out of the car.

Will update the carseat with next lo so it can go on the iCandy chassis - just hope if we have a boy he doesn't mind being in a purple iCandy coz oh will not fork out for another!! :haha:
I got the purple one because I thought its good for a boy too. Purple's definitely a unisex colour!

I would recommend an iCandy peach for anyone who's unhappy with their pram. It's amazing, lightweight, easy to use, pretty..... It literally has everything!

I got a chicco trio living travel system and I love it!! Lily isnt a fan of the carry cot because she doesnt like lying flat, bit the rest is brilliant! And I git it on sale for £220 so it was a bargain! So lightweight and easy to push!x

I have a Britax B Smart, I mostly like it, we had a few problems with various parts but they have all been rectified promptly by Britax. I wouldnt however want the Britax B Dual as a double as I think its too bulky so im going to be going for an Icandy Peach Blossom when the time comes. We have as a lightweight pushchair a Britax B Mobile which I mostly like, LO seems slumped in it when he doesnt have his cosy toes on. With the cosy toes on you cant tell so out of sight out of mind! lol.

I adore my pram, bugaboo chameleon, so smooth and compact, gets lots of pram envy! Love it.

I had the quinny buzz, i hated how big it was and to get it in the car you had to take it apart including take the 2 big wheels off, then nothing else would fit in the boot, but i wanted one with a proper carrycot and they all seem fairly big so i didn't regret it as such, it just started to get on my nerves, and then when i wanted to change to pushchair mode it was still so big and such aload of hassle i sold it and got a maclaren. but i wanted to have my lo facing me for a bit longer really, but it wasnt too bad as he was about 4/5 months by then and they like to be able to see in front.
Between 3 kids ive gone through so many different prams/pushchairs and they are all rubbish and dont do what you want them to do.

i have to say i LOVE my pram, its the bugaboo bee, its fab. BUT its been lent to us by friends who are pregnant again and have asked for it back! We have bought all the accessories already incld new hood etc so we're going to splash out and buy another - maybe from ebay this time though! I love it so much, I don't even want to switch to a maclaren when LO is a bit older, the bugaboo bee is just so easy to manoeuvre, light, looks great. i Can't recommend it enough!!

Iv got the mamas and papa pliko/pilko whatever p3 and its ok... brought it on here and its lovely but.... I wanted a nice new one but we couldnt afford it as I was made redundant and we had a house to furnish at the same time as LO being born. Iv vowed next time im going to research pushchairs very well for next LO and make a good choice.

You will love the cameleon truly-blessed! Everyone i know who has it echoes these thoughts. It takes a bit of getting used to putting it up ( goes down easy), but this vice is far out weighed by all the highlights of this pram. Other prams seem to have loads of metalwork going on underneath making them cumbersome. So lovely and effortless to push and manoeuvre, you can really nip aroundthe shops with it. I'm going to get the snow wheels for the front too to take boo off-roading. Enjoy your boo, I'm sure you won't be disappointed! Expensive but worth every penny, a prams comfort is so important for Mum as well as baby.

well the in laws paid for it all plus the car seat, base and adapters ... we're very lucky. We just chose it after much debating, as soon as DF saw it and pushed it around the shop, that was it, he didn't even want to look at any others so I had an easy time of it.

I don't regret the pram as a whole, but I wish I didn't buy the carrycot part(£195 ). It looks lovely but I can't get into the basket underneath! It's a freaking pain in the butt. Really gets on my nerves.
Cannot wait until Isla can sit up and we can put the chair bit on it instead.

we have this and for short shopping trips we resorted to using the car seat! Also, the chair lies flat so is suitable from birth although we didn't use it like that because the straps were a bit too high for me to be sure she was secure. x
