Anyone else actually looking forward to the budget thingy tomorrow?

well i have to say i'm pleased!!!!!!!!! i thought it would be a good day and i'm glad that it has gone well!

So is the £500 for first baby only immediate? Or from April?
What was that they said about phone landlines?

All I heard in the HB bit was it will be limited to £400 for a four bedroom house.

Edit: Whatever that means :shrug:

BBC news says for housing benefit;

"Housing benefit will be limited to a maximum of £400 per week for a four-bedroom house"

I have a three bed house and I only get £114 a week?

Yes but this is now for 4 beds+ so where people used to claim for say a 10 bedroom house.... well all they would get now is £400 lol

remember that family that claimed housing benefit and the lived in a mansion?? :p

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THEY'RE NOT HAPPY WITH THE TAX RISE hhahaha

order order!!

Argh the VAT increase! They weren't happy in there were they :lol:

the public sector pay freeze is also only for people on 21k+ i think?

Yeah i just realised this... so we will get a little more... panic over a bit lol. Its scary when you talk money. We'll be ok anyway... just have to get a job myself and hope they're not cutting childcare element of tax credits!

landline tax has been scrapped. this is bad for the company i work for, but good for everyone with a landline phone!

Could that mean £400 per month at all? type-o maybe?x

I'd hope so, £400 a week seems a bit far fetched!
