Anyone else at 5 weeks and 2 days?

Hi All,

I am new to the forum. I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. So far the only symptoms I have are frequent trips to the bathroom and terrible insomnia. I'm not sick, my boobs are not sore, and I'm not really hungry. Is this normal? I don't have my first Dr. appointment until 8 weeks. This is my first time being pregnant, and I really want it to stick!

Hi, im a bit further on than u but ive bn where u r!! I feel absolutely fine!! have done since day 1. Ive had sore boobs on & off, waves of mild nausea & yep the never ending need to pee!!!it freaked me out at 1st coz i always thought id feel like shit but ive accepted that im just bloody lucky!! i used a doppler this wk for the 1st time & i heard my bubbas hb, so feeling fine is a good thing, dont worry!! if theres anything else ur unsure about give me a shout. im no expert & this is my 1st, but it always helps talking to someone whos recently been in ur shoes!! congrats!!!!

Hi I'm 5 weeks 3 days and I'm feeling a bit yucky already.

I wouldn't worry about having no symptoms, they might kick in later, or you might be one of the lucky ones that gets none at all! x

hey, welcome! i am 5 weeks. most of my symptoms appeared at 3 weeks (i know right?). the only lingering ones i have are sleepiness, and sore boobs. im happy with that, it could be worse heres to h&h 9.

I am the same as you 5 weeks 2 days pregnant Don't worry about the lack of symptoms! I am in the same boat. I have a few symptoms that come and go. It's normal! With my first pregnancy morning sickness didn't kick in until week 6! So lets brace ourselves lol! Congrats on your BFP!!!

To be honest, I'm wondering the same thing about whether we should be worried, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm in the same boat. About 5 weeks along and no symptoms whatsoever other than some tender nipples and minor cramping. No sickness at all. Hopefully we're just lucky? Or we may still be early I seem to hear that 6 weeks is the turning point for a lot of people. Either way, a H&H 9 months to you!

I am! Right now my symptoms are sore boobs, lots of bathroom trips, insomnia, fatigued, emotional, mild cramps. Occasionally I get waves of nausea, but never very bad! I'm hoping I don't get ms this time, my other pregnancies I had it bad! Welcome to the board and congrats.

I am 5 weeks today. I have the frequent trips to the bathroom, but I can not get enough sleep! and my boobs are definatly sore. I wont have my first apointment until 7 weeks... Its hard to believe this is real! Have you told anyone yet?

Yep, I'm right around that! I never had symptoms with my first, and this one is starting out the same.

I am 5 weeks 3 days. I have some symptoms but not sick feeling (yet ). I have sore boobs, frequent bathroom trips, lower back pain, light cramping, shoulder joint pain/discomfort, bloated, gassy (lots of burping lol). I am so tired all the time.

Morning girls - i'm 5+3 today and at the moment i appear to be one of those "lucky" ones that feel nothing / very little, although i have a horrible feeling those symptoms are just waiting for me and any day now they will all hit me like a truck! lol

Hi ladies! I'm 5 weeks and 1 day (but may be earlier because I ovulate late). So far, my only symptoms are sore breasts. I am slightly nauseous at night time, but it's so slight ... like I'm a about to eat something gross, but that's it. For the last few days I wasn't hungry at all, but it's finally picking up. This morning my tummy was actually growling not too long after I woke-up and I'm not a breakfast person.

I'm also been craving veggies ... so odd, but I know it's good for me and the baby.

It's nice seeing so many others as far along as me. It's also my first baby and first time ever pregnant!

I notice this when I wake up in the morning. I think it is from not wearing a bra to bed. I am also soooo bloated! I look like I am 5 months pregnant at some points of the day. Luckily no MS. Hopefully I skip this symptom but I've read it usually does grace us with its presence until after week 6? I dont go for an ultrasound until around week 18! Anyone else? The wait is going to kill me!

week 18?!?! good god thats late! Are you in the UK? I'd get them to change that if i were you - you should be having your second scan around then!

I've not even organised anything for me yet......
