Yeah, I eat nuts and have had LOTS of peanut butter, as I've been totally craving it.
From what I've read, as long as there is no nut allergy in either family, you're fine.
On other allergies, the research suggests there is no correlation between eating peanuts and allergies, so I wouldn't worry.
I'm quite a stickler for making sure I don't eat the banned items, but this is one I think is nonsense for those of us without a but allergy.
