Anyone else experiencing difficulties conceiving no.2 or beyond?

WE've been trying for nearly 2 years now. I've had the bloodwork and scans done about 6 month's again and was all okay. My husband has been tested and everything is okay there. Problem is my cycles are not regular, never have since i had my little one. I guess its just a hit and miss for us.
We're seen a specialist and she won't help with me having a BMI over 30, so we will keep on plodding along... :(

Yeh me to :D but now I'm worried that I'm not going to get pregnant again because I only did get pregnant because of the lap and dye :( x

Donna heard lots if positive stories about people conceiving the cycle directly after the lap and dye :cloud9:

:howdy: bambina that really sucks that you can't get any help as with irregular cycles its likely that Clomid would really help

Hopefully not Donna it could just all be coincidence. Keep the faith :dust: :dust: :dust: our bodies have done it before so hopefully they will do it again.

Thank you I hope so , yeh I'm hoping it was a concidence , as I was already nearly 3 weeks pregnant when I had the lap and dye , so surely my egg was alredi fertilsed by then,
Next step is oh sperm test , 2bh I do think he may have a low sperm count and that's why it took so long x

I've read about it, my GP was going to prescribe it but thought it was best to refer me to the hospital but the specialist won't unless my BMI is below 30. My GP did warm me that she is very strict and has had concerns from other people about her. SO thinking a trip to my GP might help.

I think that's ridiculous! Why does having a BMI above 30 mean you can't get help?! :growlmad:

Because To some people having a baby with a high bmi is dangerous to baby and mother. I had a high BMI last time and both me and my little girl were healthy, the birth was long but not too painful and she was a lovely weight of 7lb 10oz.

Yes I would go back and have another go at the GP is your BMI much off 30?? BMI is also such crap!

It's about 38, classified as Obese apparently, but my doctor even says its rubbish at times. She would have happily given me it but sent me to the hospital for them to do the tests etc.

Maybe keep on to ur dr about it , x

Think i will, I eat healthy, i exercise enough. So i can not see why they won't.

Had a temp drop this morning, its a couple days early but fully expecting AF today at some point.

 sorry Braven same thing happens to me every month. So depressing! :hugs:

Hi Girls,

I've decided to join you - I need a bit of support!

I'm a mummy to a beautiful baby and hoping to extend our family. First time round, things were not easy as I had 5 miscarriages before my rainbow baby. 3 cycles was the longest time between pregnancies so I just assumed another pregnancy would be just as easy to conceive - but, alas, 10months on and no BFP. I know that's not long but given my history, I am a bit worried - and disappointed :-(

xx

:hi: Claire sorry to hear about your losses. Did the doctors ever find a reason? Unfortunately You're in good company here with the shock and disappoint. How old is your little boy?
