Anyone else growing out the hair dye?

Although dyes do react funny with preggers hair lol

Does it really??

Totally, bleach and dye both can turn out dodgy colours! One pregnant woman in the salon had to have her hair dyed 3 times in a day because her normal dye colour went a bit mental on this occasion

i was losing the will to live!

Im 27 and was due to dye my dark brown hair (that is full of white not grey hairs!!) before I got BFP, but hadnt done it yet.
I thought I couldnt, so waited and asked my midwife at first app on 23rd Aug. She said it was fine, but its funny how I still havent put in the dye I bought straight after the app!!

Me! I was never big on dying my hair to begin with anyway. I've been growing it out for the past few months anyway and the roots are not noticable at all because they are brown to begin with, just a bit lighter than the colour in my picture. Hopefully by the end of the pregnancy my natural colour will be completly back in my hair all over and not just the roots lol.

I have light brown hair, my actual hair I mean, but I dye it black. And i dyed with an ammonia free color about three days ago. There was no strong smell at all and I have a fan in my bathroom so that was good. The color came out perfect =)

main reason i won't re-dye my blonde (apart from its in bad cond) is because my SIL did this to her hair when 7 months along and it came out copper/orange instead of a pale blonde! I wouldn't dare risk it! Its not a good look (unless its natural then its fab)

Ask for then to foil the color in and that way it doesnt touch your scalp! The only exception for me would be if you were high risk then you wouldnt want to take any chances. I am a cosmetologist working with these chemicals everyday and I know so many women who have worked in this profession go on to have happy healthy babies. No worries :D
