I'm so confused. I drank about 1L of water in the last few hours, but have had to pee only once, and not by a lot, at that.

My tummy is cramping up more and more and I'm not sure what's going on.

Where did all the water go? Could anything be wrong?

Personal question, but, have u been constipated at all?
I find I have stomach cramps and can drink and drink but not wee when I'm constipated x

I (finally) went twice yesterday, but I do feel constipated today. When I poke around, there is definitely "something" stuck where I expect it during constipation ...

Is the water just going to the stool? I'm hoping that's the case; I was starting to worry if my kidneys aren't working. :(

Yeah, I spoke to my midwife about the same thing u asked and she told me it'l be the constipation, I know a girl whos pregnant and having kidney problems...major sign is really bad back ache apparently, if you don't have that then it'l be just constipation I'm sure :) x

Thanks Gemma! That takes a load off my worried mind! I have a bit of backache, but nothing major. :)

Still no pee though!

Hi hun. i agree that it sounds as though it's related to constipation. Alot of the water will go to your bowel to soften things to help you go and also i think you need more fluids when your pregnant. Backache is a side effect of constipation to hun. So long as your weeing at all even little amounts is a good sign. If your still worried in a couple of days call your GP or midwife xx

up your fiber intake as well.broccoli, etc... it will help with the constipation.. :) and watch out for the cheese...makes it worse

I'll note the cheese!

I made my own alfredo sauce yesterday. It was delicious but I had no idea how much fat is in it til I made it. Wonder if that's contributing to this issue.

You're not alone! I've noticed this also, I'll drink a TON, but I'm not peeing nearly as much as I was the first few weeks. Constipation has probably been the most annoying pregnancy symptom for me!
