Shortly after waking today I started having spells of nausea which I haven't experienced since my ms left at 9 weeks. And in-between the nausea I'm getting mild dizzy spells. Could it be from my drop in blood pressure? Or maybe I'm just getting sick? I really don't know what to think but I'm contemplating calling in sick and not going to work today. I'm sure I COULD go and function fairly normal...but I don't want to anyways lol.

anyone else get these symptoms at 22 weeks or know what it could be?

thanks in advance

I get light headed a lot. But no nausea. If you're not 100% then give work a miss x

I got sudden dizziness and nausea on the phone to my dad during my 2nd tri - it came on so suddenly I was still trying to have a conversation with him while calculating how long it would take to sprint to the loo. I was sure I was coming down with norovirus it came on so quick with sweats etc. After resting for an hour or so it started to pass. No idea what it was. However, in UK, pregnancy related illness isn't allowed to go against your sickness record, so if you in the UK I'd take the day off just in case.

Thanks.. :)
I decided I'm not going in to work. I ate some toast and the nausea hasn't returned since but I'm still getting light headedness....thinking of checking out my bp later today to see if its dropped again. I'm not used to having such low bp that's for sure.

That's literally been my entire pregnancy from day one, I was worried and asked my dr to do a full blood work up even though she was unconcerned.. All is well, most likely it is just from having a lower blood pressure which isn't a problem in pregnancy is what I've been told.

My dizzy spells get so bad I get a hot flash, cold chills, and my head starts pounding. I always have to stop what I'm doing to sit with my head down for a minute to regain balance and prevent getting sick. Other than when that hits I feel great!

I'd run it by your dr better safe than sorry, but it's probably okay.

I get a bit dizzy and breathless at times already (22 weeks tomorrow). I think we just need to pace ourselves as blood is pumping so much harder round our bodies, were bound to feel a bit off sometimes. If you don't feel great it may be best to have a day off? X
