Anyone else making/made a Quiet Book/Busy Book??

Me and my mum have got together over that past week or so to make Daniel a quiet book.
I have been meaning to make one for a while now, but we have a 4-5hr drive to cornwall coming up when we go on holiday, and I thought it would be a great little time killer for the car journey!!
we are making it (mainly) out of felt as neither of us are that skilled in sewing!!

Anyway - thought I would share the pages I have (so far) and if anyone else wants to share any pages they have made - feel free


Name page (this has a plain orange back)

My son is 2, so at the moment, I am aiming it at that sort of age.
I am going to be putting some pages in that will help with dressing/undressing. The zip page is almost finished. The button page just needs a back. I will also do a buckle page, a hook and eye page, a velcro page, a popper/snap fastner page, and a tie the laces page.

some more pages done/nearly done

Baby ladybird tucks under Mummy Ladybirds wings in the pocket created when the zip is shut. Attached with some ribbon so he doesn't get lost, he just needs some black sequin spots.

I've just been out today to get things to make a busy book for my son. (1.5) My mum made them for us when we were kids so i've been gearing up for it for ages but we're going on holiday too in a few weeks. Love your ideas though!

The train bead will be attached by a long ribbon and will have a tunnel pocket. The ribbon will be long enough to drive the train around the tracks.
