Anyone else not get this "50 shades" fuss??

Saw it because my friend wanted to go for her birthday and all I could think whilst watching it was Twilight. There's so many scenes that are ridiculously similar (I know it started as fanfic but c'mon!) and I was waiting for it to end, yawn! xxx

I watched it the other night.....it's very rare that I want to turn a film off half way through but I was so bored. I managed to work my way through the full 2 hours and my review is that it's utter rubbish.

It could have been a decent film if they got the right scriptwriters (or EL James backed off and let scriptwriters do their job) and got actors that had some sort of personality.

The basic story isn't bad but sadly EL James can't write and does not seem to own a theasaurus.
