anyone else starting clomid?

My symptoms are... Insomnia, hot flushes, feeling really bloated, Irritable, really emotional and then when I'm ovulation I get the worst O pains. I feel like my ovaries are going to burst, but at least I know it's working. I'm not trying to scare you and it's different for everyone, you might not get any. Whatever the case, it will so be worth it in the end.

Oh for sure! Hubby and I are taking holiday pictures tomorrow up in the mountains so it should be a nice relaxing getaway as well. Plus we are getting our Christmas tree! Should help get my mind off Clomid!

Aw wow, that sounds amazing. I hope you both have a lovely time. I think we are going to put our tree up at some point this weekend, I really wanted a real one but OH is worried our little dog will try and pee on it so it's an artificial one for us! I love putting the decorations up but the problem is I never want to take them down. This is definietly my fav time of year, I've got my fingers crossed for a white Christmas

Yeah we were going to get married next September in Cyprus on my birthday but we had to put the plans on hold to see what happens with the clomid. I don't want to go abroad pregnant or with a little baby. If we do get pregnant on the clomid we are just going to have a small wedding over here and maybe a blessing in Cyprus for our 5 year anniversary but if Clomid doesn't work we'll go back to the original plan. I hope we end up with the small wedding over here, I'd love to get married with a cute baby bump.

Wow thats exciting!! that's kind of what we did. we put wedding plans on hold to ttc but if clomid doesn't work out we will be having our wedding around april or may. We already had the ceremony and got legal but still want to do the "fun" things! lol

so how are you doing? any symptoms yet?

No not really had anything yet. I've been having AF like cramps since 2dpo but I had them with the 1st round and I think it's just my body getting used to ovulating. I have been urinating more frequently and I've loads of creamy CM but I don't think it means anything because 6dpo is still too early to have any symptoms I think.

How are you feeling since starting the clomid?

some backaches... more just bloating i think. today is cd 18 and i have cramps and breast tenderness... not sure what that means - thinking that AF is coming but in the back of my mind hoping for bfp still...

I'm sure it will be wonderful and amazing no matter what you go with.
I would love to test that early but OH will go mad, he made me promise not to test early. I'm only 7dpo today and woke up this moring really wanting to poas, it took my all my will power not to. It's so hard knowing I have a draw full of IC htps and 8 frer but I am going to try my hardest to not test until AF is actually late. I think I'm going to ask my OH to hide them from me or get them out of house.
I'm glad you're not getting all the horrible symptoms of clomid, FXd it stays that way

Trying to conceive from 4 months and now im stressed. I am 27, with regular and normal periods.?
i went to doctor and he did pelvis ultrasound (abdominal) that is fine also. i m having good BMI AND HEMOGLOBIN. my hubby's reports are all right (except semen volume 1.5 ml). only sometime he have erection problem.
now doctor have prescribed me clomid for 5 days and Follicle study on 3 Cycle day (though i havent gone for a clomid and study yet as my hubby will be out of town this month).
I need help, guidance and support. Plzz share everything you know.

Additional Details
i am already using fertility calendar and also noting down my tempratures (from last month only). my bbt curve is normal. i just wanna know wether u took any tests or medication.

doctor havent done any harmone test or trans vaginal ultra sound. i am actually having negative thoughts bcoz i feel i m not dignosed properly. i had one tiny cyst (which is nuthing to worry as doctor say). should i change doctor? can u tell me, in what fertility problem doctor give clomid? what r sideeffects? is low semen volume is cause of delay?
plzz share all u know, i just want to relax as my hubby will not be here this cycle so its sure ill not be prego this month

I was prescribed provera and clomid because i have irregular cycles and don't ovulate. Some doctors can give it to you because they're lazy and hope it works without doing testing if you actually NEED it.

i do that too.. It's such a terrible habit!! lol I'm taking my last pill of clomid tomorrow! Do you think I have no symptoms because it's not working or something?

They prescribe clomid mainly for people who don't ovualte or who have a weak ovualtion and bad quality eggs. I think it's also used for unexplained infertility sometimes.

I was given clomid because I have pcos and don't ovulate, it took me nearly a year to be prescribed it though! I was monitored throughout my 1st cycle by internal ultrasounds and a CD21 blood test. I released 2 eggs so a better chance of conception. The side effects vary but common ones are moodiness, iritable, cramps, insomnia, emotional and noticable Ov pains. But like I said thay vary, some women get lots and some get none. If you're not happy with your Dr opinion I would definitely get a 2nd opinion.

Kel - No I don't think that at all, some people are just lucky and don't get any. You've had moodiness which is one of the main ones. I would say try not to worry about it but I was worried about the same thing my 1st cycle. Will you be getting any monitoring done? I'm only asking because that might put your mind at rest. I was even worried this month until I saw my +opk.

I found out not really. I'm only doing to have bloods on day 23. So they will be checking if my progesterone level is better. I hope this all works out soon! I'm so tired of it..

so now its cd 20 and i dont know what is going on with my body. Even DH noticed that my chest is even starting to look bigger and more firm. I have never had this before. I am cramping and have been since Sunday night. Is that normal with clomid? could i be pregnant? The 2ww is AWFUL!

It is very possible!! How many dpo are you?!
