Anyone had tests on nhs??

I think I might have to call them and tell them I've changed my mind about the study- I'm going to be away for a week staying in student halls for a summer school so not sure I'll be able to do it! Also I'm moving ahead with more tests now so might take a break from OPKs (my Dr also recommended not using OPKs).

Today I met with a different GP as my usual one is away for the summer. She saw in my notes that my GP was recommending a referral to the fertility clinic for July as then it'll be a year of TTC for me, and she's started the process. I have to get Day 3/21 tests again as it's been longer than 3 months since I've had them and also some other blood tests. OH has to get blood tests and a SA too. So hopefully all of that will happen in the next couple months and we can see where we go from there!

Well, they can't really blame you if you can't do it. Do you at least get to keep the tests and such if you don't complete the study? I'm so glad you're moving forward with things, Fezzle!! :) Hopefully, you'll get some answers and some next steps to take soon!

You know, I signed up to the study, but then I found out that we're moving away soon, so there was no point. I did look forward to peeing on all those sticks, but hey, what can you do....

AFM- I'm moving forward with recurrent miscarriage testing at the moment. The IUI seems to have jump started my body and I fell pregnant three months after my second m/c (using the SMEP), but I m/c'd again. Hence, the RM testing. Despite my FS retiring and no one telling me, my new FS was really on top of things and was happy to get the ball rolling immediately.

DH and I both have to have some elaborate blood tests and then I'm having Hysteroscopy (which is the camera inserted into the uterus to see what's going on in there). Hopefully, this will all happen soon so we can work on keeping a baby for longer than a week...

I hope they figure it out, Ella! Your chart is looking good this cycle! Do you have a plan if you get another BFP?

Really, I have no idea. I forgot to ask about that at my last appointment. My plan right now is to call my clinic as soon as I see two lines and ask them how to proceed. It's hard because we don't know what's going on just yet and my new FS kept stressing to me that nothing may be wrong and I'm just unlucky...It might be a case of having the blood test rushed through and them giving me advice based on it or something. They might just tell me to wait and see.

I just don't know... I'm trying to prepare myself for any outcome at the moment... AF, BFP, m/c or a nice healthy pregnancy that lasts at least 8 more months, which is obviously what I'm hoping for. :)

Good luck- I hope you have a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby at the end of it!
