My first cs was an emergency section. I thought it was a good experience but two years later on my second section they were shocked at the amount of scar tissue they found and it took a lot of time to get my baby out. Does this mean I cannot have another? Has anyone experienced this? I cannot have children naturally as my cervix does not thin or dilate. Please help x

Hi I was in a similar position to you. I had an emergency the 1st time around and then an elective with my second. It took them 45 minutes to get the baby out with my second due to the amount of scar tissue I had. My consultant who delivered my second baby came to see me in recovery and asked me if I wanted more children. She said she wasn't saying I couldn't but to really think about it because if they needed to get baby out in an emergency it wouldn't be possible which would be life threatening for myself and or baby. I didn't have a good 1st delivery either which added to the amount of scar tissue. Everyone is Different, you need to request to see a specialist to give you the answers you need that are specific to yourself and will help you plan your future.

I have a similar experience to you.

I recently had my third. It was a very long procedure (an hour or so I think, I'm not exactly sure but it was much longer than my first two). The OB said I had a lot of scar tissue and to really, really, really make sure I'm certain before I think about a 4th because it would be "high risk".
