I have, actually. Make sure you get a themometer that can detect basal body temperature. Take your temperature first thing in the morning, and try not to move. Put your chart and themometer right next to your bed so that you only have to move your hand to get it. Record your temp at the same time every day, too. I would set your alarm, and temp at that time every morning, before doing anythinge else. Too much movement or even talking can affect the temp.
It's actually quite helpful, just a pain in the butt for me.
One month of charting won't tell you too much, because you won't know your trend. By next month, if you haven't fallen preggo, it will become very useful because you will start to see a pattern.
I had to do six months of it when we were seeing a fertility specialist. That's why we're not taking things that route right now. If we don't get pregnant before he goes, then we'll just patiently wait until he returns and see a specialist then. Don't want anymore stress right now!
As far as the holidays, he will only be home for a few days, family will be all over the house, and I will haved OV'd before the week before.
I wish we could try, but I don't see that it's possible!!
Let me know how temping goes!
