Anyone just beginning fertility testing?

Tanya that looks so promising! I hope it's your :bfp:! xx

Two weeks from now, I have to wait for them to induce a cycle since my cycles are so irregular and I was on the final days do af when I had my first consult with my doctor.
3 vials!! Hurrah! I can deal with that!
When are you getting yours done?

I'm going tomorrow morning.

Tanya I really hope you have :bfp:
:dust:

Welcome!!! Mandy and prlgirl!! Good luck with your testing.

Kittie Ihave my fingers crossed that the SA will come back good and your blood work.

AFM- I got my blood work back and I had the hysteroscopy done, they did an ultrasound and a mock IVF transfer to see how smoothly it would go. My blood work came back normal, AMH is 1.98 ng/mL which is in the normal range for my age (30). My DH came in for the procedure, he looked sooo nervous. I was reassuring him and all he had to was sit there, lol! The procedure went good, it was uncomfortable. She counted 14 follicles on each side, so 28. She was very happy with that. I am hoping to start IVF around the first of Nov. It is nice to have the test's come back good, but that still doesn't mean we will get a BFP. I am just nervous it wont work out and it is so hard to go through the disappointment. I will try and stay positive and hope for the best. :flower:

Just an update ladies.
I tested myself this morning with fmu and the test was negative :(
Didnt ask my doctor to retest me, i kind of feel abit silly now. Had sore boobs, bloating, cramping and a sicky feeling for the past several days.
Seeing that negative has really disheartened me, so now im just going to wait to see if AF shows x

Just left the lab. I got 23 vials of blood drawn. Someone told me it would be like 3-4. When I saw all the tubes I was like whaaa...?!

Its ok.
Im still awaiting my referral to a specialist, so i geuss i shouldnt get down about it. Atleast i know ill have answer soon as to why its taken 18 month +
Im just a little scared / excited about fertility treatment, and dont it would be great to share the experience with other ladies

Hi, tanya, I am really sorry for your negative result :(. But don't loose your hope. Wish you have your :bfp: soon.

hi lavender, I am so happy for your good results. Keep us updated.

I am having my hsg tomorrow. Think about me, pleeeeese.

 :winkwink: :hugs:

DH and I started fertility testing the beginning of September, boy has it been stressful!
I did blood work, cycle day 3 tests, and a Pap smear and everything was just fine and dandy. Then DH did his SA and the results were devastating to say the least.. He had an infection from years ago that never cleared up, no sexual diseases or anything, just some sort of infection. So he's on antibiotics for 2 weeks then he has to do another SA at the actual lab instead of doing it at home like the first time. I'm hoping for better results this month, maybe October will be our month??

Sorry Tanya. It ain't over til the :witch: arrives!

Sorry about the bfn Tanya :hugs:. Looking at those tests I'm wondering if you've had a chemical.

Hickdaisy I'm sorry to hear about your DH's SA results :hugs:.

Lavender I'm glad your tests went well and I have my fx'd for your IVF in November! So exciting that you could be pregnant by Christmas!

Prgirl....23 vials?!! Ouch!!!

Me? I'm still waiting to O so I can book my 2nd lot of blood tests. Cummon eggy!! I realised I'm overdue my smear test too but now I might in the tww (I think I'm 1dpo but waiting my chart to confirm it) I'm not sure when to have it as have been told before not to have it during the tww. I have been due it since March and it has kept slipping my mind to book it! Not good I know! :dohh:

Hi, girls,

I just want to update. My hsg was today and everything appeared to be OK. There were some difficulties that were overcome. The procedure was almost without pain phiuu  .So next thing is the appointment with the doctor and maybe clomid.

Looks like an evaporation line to me but I could be wrong. How long after you tested did you take this picture? If it was after ten minutes i would say evap. I hope I am wrong!

Tanya,

Also, be careful with ICs. Two months in a row i was getting faint BFPs and I thought i had chemicals. Turns out the blue handled ICs are notorious for detecting super low hCG levels (so low even a non-pregnant woman would test positive).
