I am a little nervous though my numbers Mon was 9988.4 wed they were 14460.5 so they are slowing down I think it is still appropriately going up though because I have read that once it gets past 6000 then it takes over 96 hrs to double and mine were at 89 hrs so that is still above normal doubling time. I have my scan tomorrow so nervous about it. I am praying there is a HB I read somewhere that usually over 10k there is a HB and I will be 1 day from 6 wks. but then I will have to wait till at least 7 wks 2 days before I can go back unless I make an appt with my regular OB here in town instead of my RE 2 hrs away. The manager will be out of town next week and I have to stay here unless it is absolutely necessary for me to have an US next week at my RE. Cannot wait to here your results will you be 5 wks 5 days or 6 days?

So just wanted to update everyone as I am a nervous wreck but calming down a bit!

Finally yesterday I was able to see one of my doctors. I thought I was 7 weeks and 4 days but apparently due to me saying I was cramping, he wanted to get a U/S done right then and there...

The tech saw a baby, fetal pole, yolk sac, gestational sac, but NO heartbeat. I am/was a bit devastated..BUTTTT....doc said that I was measuring at 6 weeks and some days so maybe I ovulated later than I thought? They took blood to check my numbers and tomorrow I go back to have them checked again but won't know if they doubled/tripled until possibly Monday as my appt is later in the day tomorrow.

My doc assures me I am where I should be but it doesn't help ease my mind. Some say you won't hear a HB until like 7 weeks and I guess I am at a good place with at least the baby, fetal pole and all of that being seen but I just cannot seem to calm my nerves! I go in next Thursday when I guess I would be measuring at 7 weeks or so by then and get another u/s done and hopefully I hear my jellybean heartbeat then! this baby is so very much wanted and I pray god has it in his favor to make this one stick! :/

According to my doctor no usually not. But maybe everyone is different. Good Luck anyhow! xx

LOL google will be your worst enemy during the first trimester, my friend told me that and it is so true..I symptom spot everything and run straight to google. It had me a nervous wreck many times. Anyway your U/S tech might see a yolk sac and that's it at 5 weeks because at 5 weeks that is what they saw with me...

That is the only thing I've googled since my tww! I avoid it now. No point worrying myself lol

Dont be nervous as the numbers do slow down as they get larger Everything I read says that the heart starts in the 5th week, but is not always picked up on ultrasound, but more likely on a vaginal ultrasound. Thats what the doc ordered for me, I also have a another one for December 10th and then January 17th....i really hope to see a HB but will be happy with a fetal pole Im 5 weeks 5 days tomorrow...it's soooo great Im one day right behind you as its nice to have support and someone who's been through something similar !! Cant wait to hear back from you tooooo!! Where do you live??

Had my scan this morning 5 wks 6 days saw a yolk sac and itty bitty baby dot and a HB of 96.15 He said that was great everything looked great the CRL (crown rump length) was 3.26mm which on the report that he put up online for me to ck says that is 6 wks but the ultrasound said 5 wks 5 days but he said they are a day off sometimes so I am inbetween 5 wks 5 days and 5 wks 6 days I guess you could say I am 5 wks 5 1/2 days lol. The gestational sac in his report measured 6 wks 4 days at 16.52 mm? So so far good he wanted me to come back next week but I told him I could not till that next mon so on my next US I will be 7 wks 2 days that would be the fartherest I would ever have been with a Heart beat if there is one.

Hi ladies,

i am a bit frusterated and wanted to see if anyone else is in my boat? I am around 7 weeks and called my Dr. office right away when i found out i was pg at 4 weeks. well apparenlty here the Dr. wont even see you until 10 weeks! I have been spotting the entire time and they still wont see me. I thought because i am 35 that i would be treated as a high risk but they dont seem to care? Anyone else not getting to see Dr. until 10 weeks?

I was in shock that they could book me in with the midwife on monday, I'll be 5weeks 3 days.. (I hope they see a heart beat!! Do you think they will? Surely they must do if they saw yours at 5weeks 6 days?)

I was expecting to be told that I'd have to wait a few weeks. Maybe it's the way a certain midwife prefers to work? I don't know :/
