Anyone recently found out they were pregnant?

does hcg levels only get checked if you've had a history of miscarriages? i don't recall having that checked with my daughter (had her a year ago)

i'm going to try to go to the doctor this week to see how far along i am!

I just found out yesterday!! I am thrilled and very nervous. My situation isn't the best. My SO left me about a month ago with little explanation. Still trying to figure things out on my end. He is stepping up... so that is the good news. Jellybean is a blessing regardless.

Another thing I found odd was my hubby dreamt about fish two nights in a row! My mother also dreamt about fish. That is something that made me suspicious because I heard it's an indicator that someone is going to become or is pregnant. Anyone have this before?

lol hello ladies yes i have heard about the fish dreams, my aunt guessed my pregnancy and after i asked her how she knew she told me she had a dream about fish lol but my whole family believes is the fish dreams.

to alisa sd....i am so sorry for ur loss, i know wat u are feeling, after trying for yrs we finally got prego last yr but had a mc. even though it is hard and u may be asking why, sometimes we will never know why, but just know that the Lord has everything under control, take time, and know that this is also a bonding moment for u and ur hubby. and wen u are ready have fun trying again. ill say a prayer for u.

This message was incredibly helpful. Thank you Mrs Davis. The depression is lifting and the tears have reduced significantly. But I'm taking today off work to spend one more day coping with this. Hope has creeped its way back in. (And I think the hormones are balancing out).

ok so last night out of nowhere my boobs were SUPER sore! Like to the touch! Still today as I sit and type this my boobs are aching me. I have the occasional cramping and whatnot and peeing frequently (but i am drinking lots of water) my job is kind of physically demanding and at home I can't seem to sit down I keep cleaning...every twinge or whatever I think I am having a m/c because I am still early and scared...I have 3 appts this week but my ultrasound is on thursday and I see the doc on wednesday.

Hey everyone,
I have been so tired at work and I have a very physical job with lifting alot, but i have read into it and it should be ok its not like were unable we just have to be careful!!
I am also going to start swimming at the wkd as this is apparently one of the best exercises during pregnancy!! lol (lets see how long that last)!!
I am 6 weeks today went for routine blood test yesterday and got heartbeat scan in 2 weeks...I am very excited about that!
Hey are you going to the loo a lot as i am peeing like a race horse i would say every half hr jesus !!

Yes usually hcg levels are ck if a history of MC or other cases like needing progestrone to sustain it. However the fist time I was pregnant I requestd one done but had to pay for it out of pocket.

Mrs_K--sorry hun cannot help you there I wish I could find something to do to occupy my time but nothing I am 5 wks 3 days got a scan on Fri hoping to here hb this is my 6th pregnancy and 1st baby. I don't think I will rest till I can get a dopplar and listen to the hb on it every day lol.

Sunshine-- I am the same way not many symptoms except fatigue and nipple pain. But no MS had a little Heat burn last night but it finally went away .

Scarlett86-- congrats that happend in all my pregnancy my boobs quit hurting after O but start back a few days after missed AF.

AFM- Had a scan last wed at 4 wks 4 day of course all we saw was the ges sac but had blood draw that day to from the RE at another lab and it was 816 which is doubling but all my other ones were almost trippling so I was kinda worried especially since my boobs were not as sore Sat or Sun but got sorer as the day went on I requseted more blood work till my scan This Fri. yesterday my numbers cam back at 9988.4 have some more blood work tomorrow then scan at 5 wks 6 days hoping to see hb but I know still to early but I might not be able to get a scan in again till 7 wks 2 days b/c of work so I really am hoping for hb to realax me a little b/c my MC last yr in Aug the baby passed at 6 wks 3 days so the day after my scan.

Yes, I've heard that American labor laws are not that great compared with other countries. I wish I could have an hour lunch, I think it should come standard with a shift greater than 7 hours. In any other situation, people usually stop to eat after doing something for more than 3 or 4 hours. I am worried that where I work will not keep me on long enough to qualify for maternity leave. I may just have to be unemployed or have a part time job in the first months after giving birth. Hopefully my boyfriend will be able to work full time.

So I found out yesterday I am due July 20th which is the day before my sister's birthday!

However, the doctor said I have two sacs but she can only see one heartbeat. I have to go back in two weeks to see if I lost one of the babies or if it was just hard to see the heartbeat yet.

Yayyyy ...so happy to hear about your great numbers!! Mine were at 2000 on Monday and Im being sent for vaginal ultrasound on friday morning at 10....so nervous. That is GREAT we are both getting a scan on the same day....really hope we get to see the HB....I will be thinking of you
