As the title says, after the 3rd attempt at a anomaly scan (1st couldn't see baby's heart and face, 2nd couldn't see all of heart) I have been refered to Liverpool woman's hospital for a foetal heart scan and a more detailed look at our baby's heart.
The dr and sonographer have stressed not to worry and they refer lots of people when anything doesn't look quite as it should but it doesn't stop me worrying of course.
They saw the 4 distinct chambers, which they said is good but the valves on each side are usually offset, with one higher than the other from what I can gather, but they didn't appear to be on our baby's heart.
They also said that the 2 outflows should cross each other but, again, from what they could see, they didn't appear to.
I just want our baby to be ok and have a chance
I saw the midwife yesterday and the heart rate was fine, which has to be a good thing I suppose.
Has anyone else gone through anything similar. I've found lots of people referred for routine heart scnas due to heriditary conditions but no-one who has been referred from the results of their abnomaly scan.
