I dont usually have spotting before a period.TMI, this morning it was a brown colour like the start of a period but now it has completely stopped.
I think i will wake up tomorrow to a proper period,but we shall see.Im kind of eager to have my CD1 and give this TTC a real go!
So glad to hear that pregnancy is having a good effect on your nails castaway,you are lucky, even pregnancy cant help mine! its acrylic for me lol

up several times . Also I notices more visible veins all over my chest and boobs . And when I took a shower my nipples hurt when the water touch them . Sorry girls for tmi ...
I have no idea if those are some symptoms or if I am just crazy and looking for something that's not there or if my boobs hurt so much because in the past mont I gained 10 pounds. ( quit smoking , bigger appetite ! ).

Twinks: how was the baby shower . I was suppose to go to one too but my OH worked late and it was long drive so I went to get my hair done instead
Castaway: how do you feel so far? Do you have any u/ s scheduled . Isn't 4 and 5 days too far from ovulation? We are trying for a girl also but I have done some research and they say 2-3 days prior ovulation ,because sperm can live only up to 72 hours. Boy sperm is faster but die sooner so that way there is a bigger chance for a girl to get there because they can live up to 3 days . Now you got me confused I was so sure we gonna have girl if i am pregnant

I just noticed that for some reason half of my post is cut off . Not really half but there was suppose to be at the beginning .... I swear my boobs got two sizes bigger over nite . I even woke up several times with the pain/ discomfort .... And rest of it is there

Today is officially CD1 for me,woke up to the full on .Im ok about it,just hoping this month is normal.Hubs is coming home from work in the afternoon as my cramps are very bad,and he wants to look after me which is lovely,cant wait to get back to bed this afternoon!

Proudmomma2b - those symptoms sound really promising to me! Well done for quitting smoking too - when my friend gave up she got pg that month!

Aw sorry to hear tht the witch got u Dogtanian Hope u get lots of rest and tlc as AF isn't nice. Loved Fleurs suggestion about getting something nice for yourself as a treat when on. I'm very partial to chocolate so tht tends to cheer me up. Hope u feel better soon hun and fingers crossed for Oct. How many days were u in total in this cycle in the end?

Thanks everyone, baby shower was fab! Lots of nappy sniffing for various condiments- although I'd help set up so I knew the answers he he. And plenty of wine and fab food! I even missed my pregnant tummy when I saw my friend lol. Although bless her she's very uncomfortable at the min as she said baby up under her ribs and constantly pressing on them so she looked in pain a lot. She's likely to be induced soon as she has preeclampsia so she'll be meeting bubs soon

I'm on my peak today- Fleur u wait when u see tht egg sign it makes me ridiculously excited ha ha.

Castaway- hope ur managing to get lots of cat naps- the first trimester tiredness hard work isn't it. Gosh I wish my nails looked half way decent although I did manage to paint them for the baby shower last night but they're very short! Dogtanian- I love acrylic/ gel nails but everywhere seems to charge a fortune for them round here!

Yes Proud Mama, going by Shettles Method this should be a girl Sperm can live up to a week in excellent conditions and supposedly further away from O the more likely it will be a girl. We thought we were out as like I said 4/5 days is SO far from O but yeah, it worked! lol The CBFM shows you these far out days so I had a heads up and told my hubby we may have a chance, but I doubt it. We were in for quite a shock!!!

I am feeling good ladies just nausea at times and definitely napping every day lol I also don't sleep well as when I turn over I have quite a feeling in my lady garden down there...I have to switch from side to side as my hips start to hurt. lol

I am on prenatals but I swear by the pre seed lube. I think it helps the sperm live longer and move on faster

Hubby is on a multi vitamin.

I just woke up with sore throat and headache . My boobs are so big they can barely fit my bra ( my bra was too big before due to weight loss ) but they don't hurt today . I am kinda worried because that what happened last month . Found out I was pregnant than I had 3 days sore throat and the next day I started to bleed . I have no idea if it had something to do with it. I never thought about it that way but now when it's here again I am kinda worried .
And yes, I am taking prenatal vitamins . My doctor told me it is better to take them even before pregnancy . But my OH doesn't take anything .
Dogtanian: I am sorry this was not your month and I hope you gonna feel better soon .
Castaway : that's for sure that your OH has super sperm my OH has been told by a doctor that he has almost too much sperm . I always loved when I did not feel good during pregnancy because I knew everything was ok

I am 6 days post ovulation if that's what you asking
Unfortunately I feel pretty good today . No breast tenderness , no headache, no sensitivity to smell to taste . I had upset stomach for about an hours or so but that's about it . I don't even think my stomach is bloated as much as it was before . So will see , I am not as optimistic as I was yesterday ...

Proud momma you are then 6 dpo. I got a positive BFP on both 11 dpo with my first and my second 8 dpo. DPO= Day past ovulation...

I am doing good ladies. No spotting, not much cramping...I think we are all systems a go! WE told our parents today and they are over the moon!

Hehe fair enough! Personally I am sick of seeing bfn so I can't bring myself to test early and would rather see af but I do always have to restrain myself!!!! It's soooo hard not to test!

I'm ok - just waved goodbye to af so waiting for ovulation now - my first month using cbfm (clear blue fertility monitor) so hopefully I will be able to pinpoint ovulation better this month! My dh runs out of steam (!!!!) so we are hoping that it will give us a better idea of when we should be doing it!! ;-)

Tbh I am just hoping that it shows I ovulate - I have had ov symptoms (ewcm and slight ov cramps) the past few months but I would like to know for sure.

I just wish someone could tell me that by x date I will be pregnant again - it's all the waiting and not knowing that I struggle with

I think you will find with the monitor it gives you your best chance to get pregnant (we are living proof over here!). So believe in it, trust in it, and until you get your highs/peaks just enjoy each other. I found that when we didn't get highs/peaks I would indulge in non baby making fun for hubbys sake so we never went baby making crazy....kinda keeps the spice in the relationship while doing the work I think this is your month though, you will get there Fleur!

English is my second language . I am so glad I can speak English and now all these bfp's and af's and cdo's etc
I don't think I am ever going to remember it

I think I am gonna wait till 3 days before my expected witch arrival and take a test . But for me it feels like 3 days ago was too late . I hope I am not going to be too disappointed
