Hi all, finally got around to posting on this thread!
Well, Eva was finally allowed home from the special care unit in hospital on Tuesday, 3 weeks exactly from her birth. It was such a relief to get her home safe and sound so we can finally be a little family together - it was so worrying and stressful having her in hospital and we were literally there with her 12 hours a day, then it broke my heart having to leave her every night !
So we've been home a few days now and it's amazing! Although I agree with all you girls - it sure is hard work !
I'm managing to breastfeed Eva, and she's taken to it really well - too well actually as she seems permanently attached! The nights really are tough and sleep is limited ! !!! Time can seem to pass in a blur and I have a constant battle to stay awake whilst nursing.
EVA just fallen asleep on me whilst feeding so going to attempt to transfer her to Moses basket without waking her - highly unlikely I know!
Speak soon! Xxx
