first kiss since september though haha!

gem good on you for the 1st kiss! sorry the date sucked though.

thanks for the advice girls on colic, i made sure i was ultra careful last night about ensuring burps were brought up and he only had a small amount of food at a time, I even took him off the boob regularly. we had a short screaming episode from about 10.30 for an hour or so but I got him to sleep by midnight and he went through until 4, then took a change and a feed and he went to 7.45! then he was up until about 10 and I got another hours sleep! i feel so much better!

hope everyone has a lovely wkend! xx

Thanks girls for all the bottle advise!
Gem- you tried and now you know that the two of you aren't right. :)
Had an eventful friday! My mom was helping us get more of our house situated and as we were just about done she went up the ladder to the loft. I didn't notice until she was as the top putting a bag up there. She took her first step down and the ladder slipped out from underneath her. She fell almost 15ft to the floor- landed on her back. She hit so hard the bent the ladder. After an ambulance ride and xrays being sent to a specialist in Australia they found 3 fractures in her lower back. :( my poor mommy

oh my god! hope shes not in too much pain and no long term damage is done :(, your poor mum :hugs:. Wishing her a speedy recovery! xx

Omg Sam, hope shes ok :| Bet shes lucky she didnt break it eh!
Hope she recovers quickly x

Thanks. Sh has some pain meds and is just resting in bed. They don't think there is any long term damage- she can get up and walk around and everything and all they've said to her is 3-6 weeeks for recovery and no heavy lifting until all the pain is gone. I suspect she will still want to go camping around her birthday

Just wondering, has anyone been on a night out since having thier LOs?

Eeeek Sam, all the best to your mum x

DF and I went out for our anniversary last week. He came home from work, we dropped Toby off at my Mums and went for a meal... picked him up at 9:30. It was really nice to spend time alone together in a grown up environment without bickering over baby things... :D

Oh no Sam hope she gets well soon.
Sorry your date was rubbish Gem but good on you for the kiss. Ive not been on a night out yet but planning one, my hen night. I soo wish you girls lived closer, would be fun!
xxx

just spent the night with a gf last night. missed abby like crazy, but felt good to get sleep, tho i could've used more...

Ohh Tasha! Bet it'll be the best birthday of your life ^_^

Ahh I havent stopped today. Woke up, had a shower, bathed Ollie, put his washing on, tidied our room, sorted 3 wardrobes out, did his bottles and fiiiinally just sat down lol.
My friend wants to come round now but I need a nap so gonna tell her to leave it because it sounds mean like but once shes here shes hard to get rid of haha... she comes about 2pm and usually stays till past 10pm.
Just cba today!

16th July, my bday :) x

Aw, that's going to be the best day ever!
Plus... it means hubby will never forget your anniversary!

My fiance wants to get married THIS YEAR. It's madness.
Basically, because he wants another baby asap, and I told him I want to wait til we're married, he wants to rush it.
I want to get married on July 15th NEXT year, because it's the 2nd anniversary of when he proposed, and it gives us time to save some money to pay for it without a massive loan, and it gives me time to lose weight so I can get into a dress. Thank heavens for corsets!

I'm on a double-diet at the moment. Only started today and it'll probably be a disaster but we'll see.
Part 1 of the diet is basically to follow 3 rules... 1: Don't eat anything that starts with C unless it's a fruit or veg. 2: Don't eat anything white unless it's fruit or veg. 3: Only drink water or sugar free squash.
So... no Coke, Cake, Chocolate, Cheese, white bread, white rice, white pasta. Gotta switch to wholegrain.
Just realized this also means no potato. Because it's white. And I LOVE jacket spuds. Aw. :(
Part 2 of the diet is to follow part 1 but use weight watchers points to make sure I'm still not eating too much. (Old points because I cant afford to pay for a monthly pass to the meetings to get the pro-points books and stuff).

Sorry, I'm rambling. I'm bored. And usually if I'm bored I eat. Must keep hands busy! :haha:

Sounds like a hard diet cottles, you should allow yourself some treats :)

I'm finding I don't need to diet as I'm to busy running around after George and don't have time to eat. I've had 2 slices of toast today and that's all. OH is cooking a roast when he gets home. Mmm. I know I should eat more but trying to look after LO as well as keeping the house clean is hard work and doesn't leave me with much time to eat.

The good thing is we're going abroad in a couple of months so maybe I will look half decent in a bikini lol

I don;t know how but I find myself sitting on my arse a lot of the day while Toby is napping so I do just eat out of boredom. And not good things like fruit either. Bad things like chocolate and crisps.

I'm only on day 1 of that diet and I'm bored of it already. What kind of diet stops you from having weetabix and skimmed milk because weetabix is a cereal (starts with c) and milk is white? pfft.
Surely that has to be more healthy than a pb&j sandwich on brown bread?

And by those rules, I can't eat chicken but I can eat turkey, which is more fatty. I think.

So... Weight watchers it is!

I'm such a quitter

yeah i know, we met on my bday and got engaged on my bday so it just makes sence to get married then too. We only decided to get married after the twins were born so its been a bit of a rush.
Cottleston im going on a diet too. I went to the docs and am entitled for free vouchers for weight watchers (only just though) your bmi has to be 30 which mine is. Gotta call a number later so then can send them out xx

Really?! My doctor never mentioned this! My bmi is over 30... I need to make an appointment in a week and a half anyway, so I'll ask about it while I'm there. Thanks for that! xx

i had to see the nurse about it, they do ww or slimming world xx
