April Mummies 2011

Ha Gertrude! I'll be 35 next month, I'm overweight and have twins in my family! :) hubby is petrified!! In fact I bring it up every so often just to see him squirm :)

I so could have used a second parent around trying to get ready for work this morning! Isis decided she didn't want to wear pants, wouldn't let me put any on her and then threw a full tantrum because I wouldn't give her yogurt. She eats breakfast at school and we didn't have time this morning for her to eat yogurt especially since a certain little miss decided to pee her bed and my bed so I had to tear sheets off two beds.

Now I have to drive to town for work to drop off some meeting agendas and there aren't any company vehicles available because everyone else is at other meetings so I have to drive my personal vehicle but I only have a quarter tank of gas :( I hate filling up with gas! I usually make dh do it!

Hope your morning/day goes better!!!

Dana- I didn't take.offense to.your comment. I know how real.gender disappointment can be bit all in all I.think it was good that the tech at 13+2 said to.think girl. It really let me get my gender issues dealt with. And I know it pit the idea in DHs head.

Poor Rosie keeps complaining that her cheek hurts :( I'm pretty sure it's her molars. Maybe I will pick up some teething tablets today. I have an appt today and will get ti hear baby!

LOL @ caro :D I did the no pants thing too once :D though yes, our cupboards mysteriously restock themselves too.

Though I have learnt that he is TOTALLY useless at finding things, so if I need to save something for a particular meal I just hide it behind something else and he'll NEVER find it :D

I'm 37 next month, and I'm overweight, the odds are bad for twins :D

my DH is useless like that too! just move something to a different part of the same shelf and he'll not find it!! :haha:

ooh we could have more sets of future twins awaiting :D

hope chest ct thingy is all clear tomorrow gem!

oh and danielle :hugs: i hate mornings/days like that!!

sam, hope rosies molars pop through soon! xx

So I'm still 2 lbs lighter than prepreg weight! Also my BP was 105/65!
Baby's hb was 140

go sam!! i'm no longer lighter than pre-preg and the way i'm eating this time am gonna end up the size of a house :/ eeek!

Pre preg weight? Pahahaha!
I'd put on 4lb by 16 weeks and another 8lb since then. Eeeek! I don't know how much of that is fluid retention though. My legs are already really swollen.
I put on over 50lb with Toby. I figure with twins weight gain is to be expected but I'm gonna be more careful this time.

DH came home from work today claiming man flu. Bless him, he did plumb in the new washing machine but I also made sure I fussed over him, got him everything he wanted so he didn't have to move, then sent him to bed so I had Toby for the evening. Might sound counter productive but it means next time I've had a bad day I can remind him of my loveliness tonight and he wont be able to ask me to lift a finger :haha:

Yea they are really pushing me to keep it between 10-20lbs so baby is smaller this time and vbac is more likely. I've also been chowing down... no control!

i dunno if i'll even be able to do a vbac. abby was so small and couldn't make it out. i vaguely remember my dr saying i should loose weight to raise my chances of a vbac. not sure what my weight has to do with my body's inability to separate my pelvic far enough to get her out (abby got stuck)?

Awesome Sam! I try to avoid the scales lol :haha:

I would have had to switch doctors to have a VBAC...Mine wouldn't do it! Kinda disappointing :(

LOL @ Caro :D we seem to have similar experiences :D

and cottles, I like your thinking :D

and yep, 37 in March, I don't feel or act it it has to be said :D

I am going to a different doctor this time. Not that mine wouldn't have let me try but where I'm going is way more into you and your birth and I felt really pushed into some of the decisions o had to make with Rosie.
Dana I could see not expecting a baby smaller than Abby!! But they would like one smaller than Rosie before they are all about the vbac. They also said being obese decreases the chances of vaginal birth. The Dr office I'm going to now also will let me go overdue of need be (hopefully not!) But they want to start doing stretch&sweeps at 37 weeks to hopefully get things going.

Ava had her routine appt to the heart docs today and everything still looks good. The holes are still there, but aren't causing any issues! She doesn't have to go back for a whole year!! YAY! :) Im one HAPPY mommy! LOL

Just over 8lbs. But I'm 5'1 ... though Dr says I have a good pelvic opening for my size....

Had a dream the other night that I had a penis popping out if my belly button peeing everywhere. The Dr came in and was all CONGRATULATIONS YOU'RE HAVING A GIRL... bit there was someone else in the room also pregnant and they asked who was who BC one was having a boy and one was having a girl.

 Sam, love dreams like that!

just realised rosies weight is in your siggy . 8lb is pretty big for 5ft1! i had 8lb9 and am 5ft9! apparently i have good hips too...got some comments about getting him out face up by myself
