April Mummies 2011

Yea I kept holding the penis in with my hands but every time I moved my hands it would pop out and pee everywhere!!!

Yea the Dr was all Well your pelvis is actually a good size. Don't see why an 8lber wouldn't fit but lets still try for smaller

Sorting my best friends baby shower out tonight ready for tomorrow and its making me broody lol

Grrrr. Just started typing a post and it disappeared!!

RiRi, I get so excited when people around me are pregnant for the first time. Bring back all the wonderful memories of that time. Have fun tomorrow!

Sorry I haven't been on lately, I've read all the posts but haven't had a chance to post myself.

Lizzie and I just made a batch of popcorn on the stovetop. Used coconut oil and it's delicious. Has a very light coconut taste that goes great with the popcorn. Yum!! She's currently stealing out of my bowl because I put salt on mine. Can't blame her.

Met with fertility dr on Wednesday and we're going to do another medicated cycle. On birth control pills right now and then will start when next period arrives. Going to use something called Bravelle this time. It's a follicle stimulating hormone similar to Gonal F and Follistim but about half the price. Just placed my order through a pharmacy in England so will be 2-3 weeks before it gets here. But for the price savings it was worth it. Just hope this time works!!!

Sam, that dream was hilarious!!! Pregnancy dreams can be so vivid. I remember a few weeks before our gender scan I had a dream that we went in for an ultrasound and the dr told us it was a girl. When I woke up I felt like I had lived that dream, down to all the small details. Of course it ended up being true. So could be that there's a penis inside you right now. I totally know how wrong that sounds but I'm leaving it. We can all use a laugh :haha:

Thats great news emmys :)

Sam what a funny dream!

Oh yeah I dont have bronchiectasis! ! Yay! But there is a problem with my lungs so been reffered to the respiratory team at the hospital.

Good luck riri! Hope the meds work for you x
Gem, I don't know what that is but seriously hunny I hope you catch a break soon. You've been through far too much :hugs: x

Anyone else suffering with these cold/flu bugs floating around? I don't have it (yet) but DH came down with something on Wednesday. I spent Wednesday evening looking after him, sent him to bed early then was up all night making sure he was ok. He spent all of Thursday/yesterday in bed so I was running between him and Toby all day. Then last night night Toby got it. He's had a fever, no appetite, clammy hands, clingy, been shifting between crying and kinda spaced out with mad half hours... So I was up all night with him last night. Met my mum today just to get out of the house and leave DH to watch movies and feel sorry for himself and Toby didn't want to walk or go in his buggy. So I had to carry him everywhere. He fell asleep at 5:30pm, woke at 7:30 and has been in and out of light sleep since (it's 4am now).
I've barely slept since Wednesday. Any sleep I've had has been
20 minutes here and there. I'm exhausted, I'm getting bump cramps, I've been lying awkwardly to make sure Toby is comfy and getting cuddles so my hips legs and pelvis are agony. I keep crying from exhaustion. I'm so busy taking care of the boys that I keep forgetting to eat and drink. I don't feel like I have time.
I know it's totally selfish but at this point I'm thinking I'm the pregnant one. I'm the one who's meant to be getting rest, sleep, fussed over. I don't have the energy for looking after DH and Toby this weekend. I just want them to get better so I can sleep. On my own. For maybe an hour.

Aww cottles if I lived closer I would come and help u out all I can do is send you a big virtual hug.
Your an amazing woman and mummy and hope someone gives u the well deserved nap u need xxx

you are NOT being selfish. you have 3 ppl to take care of in your own body (yourself, bert and ernie). you're overdoing it if you're getting cramps and *i* think it's time you spoke with your hubby about it. you're putting your babies health at risk, so he may need to suck it up for a few hours and let you sleep/rest.
really wish we lived closer because i would kidnap just you and bring you home to rest with me. :hugs:

Aww cottles!! If I lived closer I would help (pretty sure we all had the flu already). It is so hard to take care of all the sickies and yourself. I hope you manage to get some help because you definitely need it. Have your dh cuddle with Toby so you can go get some food and something to drink. Then just try your hardest to get some rest with one of them. I know you can Google a bunch of activities for laying in bed when you don't feel well. Good luck!!

Katherine :hugs:, i'll 2nd dana! wish we could all come help.hope you get some rest soon xx

Hi girls hope everyone is ok.
Emmys thats fab news, my boys have heart problems too.
Gem glad the op went well and your illness isnt as serious as you first thought.
Katherine, i know just how you feel. Hope you can get a break soon.
Dana that house looks amazing!!!
Ruby and Harley had their first night in their new junior beds last night. So far so good xx

abby's new favorite phrase is "no way". you can imagine how much fun this is :dohh:

also my new meds are making the need to go to bathroom necessary about 10 min after eating..

just thought i'd share that all with you

Dana we've gone through no way phase I sympathise with u xx

We're going though the throwing everything and ignoring everything your saying phase

Think we missed the no way phase or its yet to get here as his speech isn't great! The throwing and ignoring me stage has been in full swing for a while though.

Alex has a nasty cold and high temp atm, which he seems to have shared :-(, doh!

We have both of those phases at the moment. He's nearly done with the no way phase though I think.

Poor Alex. :( Toby is now teething on top of his flu. We had great fun last night with his screaming and refusing calpol. He kept coughing and his throat sounded so raw and dry. Poor little fella. Can't stand seeing little ones suffer, it's heartbreaking. :(

Lol Dana what are the meds for? Not a nice side effect! I was prescribed weight loss pills that made you need the bathroom after eating but I didn't take any because I found out I was pregnant 2 days before I was going to start them.

The ignoring phase has been around for a while but it's stepped up a notch. The throwing thing is a new one.
Most annoying this morning she was eating beans on toast and then I went to kitchen to get us a drink all I heard was poppy say poppy throw it and went back to beans everywhere!

Ooh nice! I found something splashed all down the wall the other day, no idea what it was, yuck!!!

Tasha, hope the twins settled.in their new beds! Loved their beds, very cute! X
