That's one thing I'm not suffering with that much - I tend to go when I need to, but can easily go all night (as long as Harry doesn't wake me) without needing to go at all... But with Harry I think I lived in the toilet. Just goes to show how different each pregnancy is, even for the same person!

I feel like things have been difficult, but have gone fairly quickly so far. But I'm dreading these last couple of months because I have a feeling they're really going to drag this time round!!

when i was carryin my lil girl i was brillant i was workin walkin every were an doin general things, with this pregancy all ive dun is suffer water infection after water infection an now to top it off ive got a real bad kidney infection.
mw told me after ive had lo on my post natal check (6wk check) to ask to be refeffered to a speacilist to see if there is anything wrong with my kidneys.

I've been shamefully neglecting BnB for the last week and feeling sorry for myself! :cry:

I've been getting truely dreadful pain from my coccyx when I sit at my desk (or any firm chair) for longer than 10 minutes, and having a desk job I was in agony by the end of each day (I get the normal pregnancy back ache too, but this is down to an old coccxy fracture)

But... yesterday my GP signed me off work till my maternity leave starts, and I can't tell you what a weight as been lifted!

I was constantly scared to go to work for the pain I was going to be in, so although I am nervous about just how long the next 12 weeks are going to feel until the wee one appears, I'm really relieved not to have to stress about work!

I'm going to have to find something to fill my days with!

I hope you're all getting on well :flower:
 
i just wanted to say hi to the 3 new girls. You have been added to the list. I wish I had a whole day to sit and play catch up on BnB. Things have been super crazy here. We are suppose to get a lot of snow this weekend so I'm hoping that I'll be able to do it then.

You will def find something to fill your days. I am on day 4 (not counting the weekend and loooooooooooving maternity leave)
Hope the pains get better now you don't have to sit in the same position all day x

I do feel a little like getting to 30 weeks is an age away! But we're so unprepared that the extra time is welcome!!

Certainly is.....I am waiting to get to 30 so I can stop my Clexane injections....consultant today has told me to stop them then!!! Can't wait...free of the jabs at last!!!!:happydance:

wish i could stop my clexane jabs :( (i only started them a week ago!)

i think its started dragging cos now i have to go into Day assesment 3 times a week to be monitored which makes it hard to continue with normal routines etc.. they want to get me to 34 weeks to deliver but i am holding out for 37.. both of which feel like a lifetime away!!!
but im not ready either mrsraggle.. cant win.. want to stop feeling so rubbish but want to enjoy my last pregnancy too....

Hey girls!!

Feeling shocking atm.......started with an awful sore throat on friday...now full blown headcold!!!:wacko: Spent all day in bed today...saw EVERY hour last night......my legs ache and I was up every hour to pee...coughing hurts bump and my lower back and bit's ache sooooo bad!! Cannot get comfy. The streaming nose has stopped but thats about it. Mind you LO is still moving about and making his presence known!!!!! Thankful for that!!

Just want to get rid of this now....really getting me down especially as OH is away and my 12 YO DD is housebound with me too...and bored rigid!!!
 
Oh no Jaccib! Sounds like a horrible cold you've got there! I have been absolutely dreading catching anything like that while pregnant. Is your DD looking after you?

I saw my mw on Friday. She had read thru my hospital notes from last time and agrees now that a section is the best idea. :) I hope I get a date soon... she thinks it'll be between 6 and 14 April.
She also confirmed that from the heartrate she would also predict boy, which has almost convinced me. I had a really vivid dream last night, and Stinky had been born and was a (giant) girl!!
Everytime I have dreams like that I am being a terrible mother - I always completely forget to feed or change the baby for HOURS!! Hopefully that won't really happen, since that's about all I WILL be doing!! :rofl:

I had good moan to my midwife about how much pain I've been in, and she said it is normal for a second pregnancy. Great help. Apparently if you go on to have a third, or fourth (or more) you never get it again.

I had swine flu at 15 weeks too!!!:dohh: Spent a whole week in bed managed on paracetamol,gallons of water and tomato soup!!! This is nowhere as bad....but the aches are really getting me down!!

My DD is not too bad....typical 12 year old though if u know what I mean!!!!:haha:
She fell asleep on the sofa watching a film while I was sleeping earlier!!!

Hope you get your date soon. So MW says from 3rd on eh??!!! Well thats it for me now this LO is my last one...last time at 43 I don't think I could cope again!!!:dohh:

Sounds exactly like me!!!! Its the coughing that is pissing me off, cause once i start i can't stop and it hurts so much!! But my cold started in my throat too and now i just feel like i have a total head cold! It sucks!! But i knew it was going to happen soon enough since DH is sick atm too!!!
