***April Sweet Peas*** 204 Babies

I got that too in my last urine sample. It turned out I didn't have an infection either. But I was wondering if I contaminated the sample myself when I peed in it, lol..I've heard women are supposed to pee a little bit first and that washes away whatever contaminants might start coming out first, -then- put the pee cup under to catch the pee, making sure not to touch skin with it if possible.

I don't think I did this the last time I peed so think that might have been why I got that result, lol

I'm pretty sure that is what has occurred with mine, but MW would rather be safe, not that I am booked in to see her until I am 39 weeks now, so results will be phoned through to me along with the check on my iron levels

Completely off topic but I'm as high as a kite today because Moreno's first supplies of Rebif (beta interferon drug to treat MS) arrived first thing this morning!!!

Now all we have to wait for is the woman to come out to the house to show him how to inject and he'll be ready to go :happydance:

We had to fight his old neurologist to even get the referral to the MS specialist so this is a major leap forward :D

That's great news!

How long before someone comes to show him how to do the injections?

The woman called yesterday, she's coming out after 5pm on 22nd of March! :yipee: I'm still really excited :D Mo was hoping to get started this week, but it sounds like the woman who shows him travels all over Scotland (which seems a bit odd to me but anyway) she'll be out then :D

So I have been feeling an immense pressure down below for a week or two now with it gradually getting worse. Does this mean baby could be engaged? And if so does that mean he will come early?

I think it does mean the baby is begining to engage, but with your SPD maybe you feel the pressure earlier than mums would normally, so I supposed I'd try not to get your hopes up too high for an early birth!

Can I ask, are you seeing an OB physio? I'm just curious because there was a woman at my antenatal class this week who has SPD and she wasn't and it seemed a bit crazy that I was getting more support from the OB physio than she was, and she was clearly more in need!

We had another birth this morning. I started in the first post making everyone that has had their little ones bold. Then on the 4th post down is the order that we have our babies with the info.

I've only seen a physio once to get a support belt and crutches. The level of care seems to vary across the country like a lot of things!

Oh wow..Mrsty was due the same day I was! I didn't even know she was getting a c-section done. Congrats to her! :)

From the text she sent her bump buddy the baby seems to be doing well, I hope they it stays that way.

I can't believe that we will start having our little ones soon.

I didn't even realise mrsty was a sweet pea lol congrats to her xx

Wow! Four babies already!!!
Congratulations Mrsty!

I had a realisation last night and am now in a state of panic! I've been so sure of myself with my decision to have another section and have just been waiting patiently for my date so have done NOTHING about getting a bag packed, or anything. I was lying in bed last night, thinking about how low Stinky seems to be getting, and how much more uncomfortable I am now, and it occurred to me that we should be prepared for the fact that he might just make an early appearance. Especially since I think my due date should be 12 April, not 19. I hadn't thought about it before, because of getting a section, and also because Freya was nearly 2 weeks late.

So today I need to think about what I need for my bag. And what we're going to do if I go into labour in the middle of the night or something - need to have a plan for what to do with Freya.

And I might start washing Stinky's clothes, and getting stuff ready for him too.

Hmmm.... I guess we should really start thinking of a proper name! :haha:

OK, so yes baby could be enagaging but no it doesn't mean early labour it's no uncommon for first time babies to be well down long before labour starts I'm afraid.

My son was 3/5's enagged from week 31 or 32. Cos I was still at work and left at earliest opportunity,so may have even been earlier.

I was suppost to be going to get a hospital bag this week, but omg you cannot believe the amount of things that have gone wrong and have needed replacing this week alone! Why does it always happen when you have tons of stuff to pay for, and have budgeted every last penny for the month.
This month I have Olivia's birthday presents to do (all done now.) The food for her tea party we;re having on sunday, then my son's birthday presents, the pay for his party then ensure have money for in the bank for when i'm in hospital having this baby, plus money after this baby so we can get it some clothes! LOLwe'll be ok if it's a girl! BUT if not then we need to go shop! Then the local swimming pool phones and says my son's name has finally after 18 months got to the top of the swimming lessons list and they need 42 quid by end of month. Then the toilet seat has broken and of all things to break right now Olivia's buggy broke this morning. I mean jeepers cld it not of waited just five weeks until we have the doubler to use! I can't use the double yet! No way I'm going to until I need to. Honestly why does it all typically ahve to come at the wrong time.

LOL anyway how is everyone else.

oh god they're flying out now. It's too scary for words but so exciting as well.

I made the last box in my ticker and it's one month til my due date. I am toooo excited. But also my cramping is getting worse. It lasts about 5 minutes each time so isn't contractions of any kind. I have no idea what it could be. Had it on and off all day. No pain in my back though. Just hoping when I see my MW on thursday she says its engaged

I don't even want to think about any money. I have no idea how to even plan as I have no idea what we'll spend and on what. So am just putting away what I can this month and praying we have enough when the baby comes. Oh well

well it seems i'm the odd one out! i've had my hosp bag packed since about 32 weeks!!! i knew i wouldnt need it there but i'm the sort of person that once i think about something i HAVE to do it there and then!! can't believe there are 4 babies already!!! im feeling a lot of pressure low down too. in a way i would love her to come early becuase i literally am SO excited and cannot WAIT to have her in my arms but as we're in the process of having a new house done up for us, i would like her to arrive when that's all finished so we can move her straight into there! exciting stuff! xxx

Crazy stuff, it's all getting so much closer now! Shinning_Star, I know what you mean about timing, lol...it always seems to work out that way!

I picked up the bits and pieces for my hospital bag so that's pretty much done. I just haven't actually packed it yet but plan to do that this week. :)

Congrats to all those that have had their Sweet Peas early... I kinda wish i was one of them so i could meet JJ now but i'm glad he/she are still all comfy inside as the thought of going into labour is one of the scariest thought i'm having now lol!!!!

I just wanna ask... what have/are you ladies putting in your hospital bags... my mom is gonna get me some stuff like diposable knickers and pads and that but i don't know what else apart from nightware and baby clothes to put in there.... HELP!!!!

Hope all you ladies are doing well though :hugs:
