***April Sweet Peas*** 204 Babies

It doesn't normally, tends to go in spouts so am really surprised equal number so far!

Congrats to the new mommies/mummies.

I have 10 new births to add to the list and there is 11 girls being induced or having sections in the next couple days. April is a really busy month. :)

I am having my c section on Friday :happydance:
Very excited!!!

All updated.

Kinleigh is doing well. She has 11 days left of her medicine and they want to watch her for 24 hours after that. So she should be home on the 26th of this month. Thank you for asking about her. It means a lot to me.

Keep your fingers crossed ladies, I had a hot chilli for dinner!

DH has been much better today. Shed a few tears, several times, from the pain and discomfort and he just hugged me whenever I asked for one. He has been waiting on me hand and foot. I have a red nose from my cold and HUGE red spot on my chin (I never get spots) so I cried over how ugly I must look and he tried to assure me I am still gorgeous. Plus he has almost finished the lounge and is taking half a day tomorrow so we can get a new bedstead and finish the lounge and bathroom.

Glad today was better for you. :hugs:

Congratulations, BTW! She is really adorable. You must be proud. :flower:

It must be so hard having to leave the wee mite in there when her sisters are all at home waiting on her, my heart goes out to you, you must be so strong!

I think we need a ticker countdown to Kinleigh coming home, hopefully just 12 days to go! Fingers crossed :hugs:

Actually, I just had a thought, Kinleigh and my wee one (whatever we're having!) should be coming home on the same day!
(I'm expecting to stay 4 days after CS on 22nd)

Well I'm still getting pains, only now they go half way up my bump!

WHAT is going on! Perhaps I need more food! brb

I have pains too but they are mostly on my back. Not had any bump BHs all day. Grrrr!

It's blommin nightmare, when this all started the pain started in my back and moved round, as days going on it's def more front and more painful. If it hadn't stopped nd started so much i'd think it was labour!

Hi, I had my beautiful daughter Isla Christine on Sunday 11th April after being admitted to hospital on Thursday with pre-eclampsia. I had one lot of induction hormone and a very fast 1hr 6 mins of established labour resulting in my husband missing the birth and bursting through the door just as Isla's cord was cut!
She is doing great though and I'm loving being a mummy!

Congratulations! I would like a fast labour although I am sorry hubby missed it.

Not too fast sometimes ya body goes into shock and takes longer to recover afterwards, happened to my friend. I'd be happy with another labour of six hours like with my daughter thats was manageable! and all in daytime, so wasn't too tired afterwards.

OK well I think I@m gonna go to sleep now, these pains have actually gotten stronger so by sleeping it'll either wake me up or be gone by the moro! But now actually quite painful! Upping to a possible 3/10

Be sods law cos DF booked this weekend off thining induction would be today but then they gave us induction next thurs, so he's just swapped this weekend for next. Plus my sons birthday party this sat! OH well what will be will be.

Hugs

Too true, I went from 3.5cm's at 5.30am to 10cm at 6.10am and had her at 6.45am!
due to the speed (this was because of the pre-eclampsia high BP apparently) I suffered a third degree tear, so had my daughter with no pain relief but then had to have a spinal anaesthetic in theatre to be stitched up for an hour, what a disappointment!

She IS worth it though!:cloud9:

Wow, so many new mummies - congrats all!!

Glad kinleigh is doing ok, hope these last days of meds don't seem to long until she's home!

My bp is still really high but I'm now mainly asymptomatic which is reassuring! The pain in my pelvis is unreal now, I am dipping so fast with it.. But still, I'm not bedbound or on morphine so still better than last time! Other than that I'm just nesting now, no signs of labour at all and hoping she doesn't keep me waiting too much longr, I am DONE!!
