hi ladies,

I'm very nervous as this is my first ever time posting on a forum. I am 25 and currently trying to conceive. I got diagnosed with PCOS which got me down in the dumps and after months of going on and off from metformin I've finally adjusted to two 500mg pills since february. I ovulated for the first that month and recently just ovulated. I am currently 8dpo... and I wanted to seek advice from the ladies.

I had a temp dip at 4dpo and then it rose, with another temp dip at 6dpo, today at 8dpo I have had my highest temp ever since taking my temp. I have sore boobs and have felt cramps on and off today, at one point they were so sharp I had to bend forward, but could AF be coming. I feel like its all in my head and I'm so scared testing yet because a negative will bring me right back down. Could the second dip be an implantation dip, I haven't had any spotting yet.

I also checked my cervix yesterday and today, it was high and soft.. I'm not sure if it was open or close, I don't really understand that.

can anyone advice me! please, I'm very anxious.

I would say those sound like pretty promising signs! I would wait a few more days to test. I just started on metformin this month same dose. Do you usually have bad side effects? I haven't had any yet so I didn't know if I should talk to my doctor about uping the dose. Hope you get a BFP in a few days!!! let us know

I checked my CP this afternoon and it was high and soft, CM (sorry TMI) was creamy and wet. I also have sharp pain in my boobs now :/ currently 9dpo I'm just waiting to get to 12 dpo to test, but the wait is killing me. I'll let you know as soon as I get the BFP, I don't think I'll be able to contain myself tbh lol.

I unfortunately did have side effects such as bloating and gas, feeling nausea but that was down to my diet (too much carbs and dairy milk) I've cut out rice and pasta and have turned to Almond Unsweetened milk and now only eat wholemean bread which have really helped with my symptoms and even kick started my ovulation. If you aren't getting any symptoms then your very lucky and should deffo talk to your doctor about upping your dose but for me, 1000mg seems to be fine as I am getting my periods and ovulating... I just hope I'm pregnant *sighs*

I caved and tested yesterday. Probably way too early AF isn't due until the 30th but I'm going a bit crazy this cycle lol. I was on my honeymoon during this ovulation so I didn't opk test as well as I should have to know if I ovulated or when Did you opk test before taking metformin at all? Sorry lots of questions lol.

I tested at 10dpo this morning too and it was a BFN went back after an hour and a little later, and it was a definite BFN. I know its early, so I'll test again in 4 days now making that 14dpo.... I'm noticing more changes, I have prominent veins on my boobs now since last night and also on my stomach lower down, almost like thunder bolts running down past my hip bone. My boobs are very tender and causing me a lot of pain still.. i was getting a pinching feeling yesterday on my right side and CP is still high and soft. I hope these are good signs and I'm not setting myself for a fall.

I didn't OPK at all or take temps b4 metformin but I was having unprotective sex for nearly two years and never fell pregnant, but i also didn't got my periods every month... sometimes i use to go without for 3,4 months. Once i got diagnosed with PCOS my doc put me on metformin, I was also advised to chart, take my temps and use OPK's... so that's how i knew i ovulated on Feb and March... GL to you and lets hope we get a BFP
