Are periods on the mini pill real periods?

I was taking the mini pill 8 months before i stopped on sunday. I know with the combined pill you have a withdrawal bleed each month which isnt a real period, i was on that a few years before i had my 2nd.then switched to mini pill due to bp high. I bled all over the place on the mini pill and also had periods inbetween. But are the bleeds on the mini pill true periods or withdrawal ones does anyone know?. Waiting to try for my 4th starting in 6 days after my medication gets changed. But not going to wait for regular periods as never have after stopping pills.

I believe they are withdrawal bleeding just like on the regular pill, since they still contain hormones. Xx

Yes, Tasha is correct. It is just a withdrawal bleed due to the lack of hormones on the off week.
