arghhhh water!

its a constant battle to get Freddie to drink any water with his meals, i have tried so many different cups, some with teats some without, he just thinks its so funny when the water goes in his mouth and dribbles it back out

i don't know what else to try? any suggestions? xxx

rhys refuses too he tips his onto the highchair tray and swishes his hands in it lol, i offer him water at every meal rosie was the same and then suddenly she was thirsty enough to just pick it up and drink out of it.

he'll drink when he's ready i'm sure

The amount of different cups I have bought I think I could start my own shelf in Tesco Liss is the same so have started using the 4m+ ones see if she gets on better with those. She seems to have drunk a little but doesn't down it like she would a bottle. The joys

We have that and she drinks from it but when she sucks too hard the teat all collapses in itself and i have to undo the lid to get it back to shape, does yours do that?

yep got that one in the collection!! and yes Fred does the same thing to the teat, he thinks its hilarious xxx

Glad I'm not the only one then! Thomas has quite a collection of cups now - Tommee Tippee, Doidy, Avent etc not interested in any! Will keep trying though!

Yeah it doesnt completely collapse but it sorta goes in. What I do is gently pull the teat towards you and the air goes back in it and corrects it, if you get me?? lol x

Leo used to just chew the teat but I kept on trying and trying and eventually when he was thirsty enough he realised what he had to do x

Niamh can't suck so we have to squeeze fluids into her mouth. We tried a doidy cup and ordinary open cup but they were sooooooo messy and not easy to take out and about. But we found a fab sports bottle from H and M. Its pink with Hello Kitty on and its slightly squeezy and she loves it.
