Well, start over again. I know I won't get pregnant this month, though, since hubby will be away for the month, but I guess this will be a chance to bbt and the likes to see what my body does this month while he's gone.

Anyone else out there trying this month?

Hi, I'm on day 3 of a 30 (ish) day cycle, so we're all in it together!
I ovulate on about day 18-20 usually which is so annoying - means you've got that much longer until you ovulate! My LP is quite short too, 10-11 days, so I'm trying to lengthen that this month.

how are you trying to lengthen your LP? Ive tried both B6 and Agnus Castus which have done nothing really, that i know of, keeping trying with the Agnus though

Yeah I'm tring both of those things. I'm taking Berocca (for B vits), EPO and Agnus Castus until O, then I'll just carry on with the Berocca after.
I ovulate quite late so bringing that forward would be good too. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed I guess.

Hiya ladies,
I'm CD1 today (august 5th). Can I jump on board?
I'm TTC after MC in May (was TTC for a year before that). My two cycles post MC have been long, with late OVs (CD21 and CD19). The waiting for late OV is soooooo annoying!
Is agnus castus supposed to help by bringing on OV quicker?

Hi NikiJJones - I think Agnus Castus is supposed to regulate your cycles - the theory being that they maintain a balance between the eostrogen and progesterone; so bring O forward a little and push AF back a little.
I've yet to see if it works (only started taking it today).

I may see what happens this month without it, and then give it a go next month if I'm having the same problem. I've got a gyny appointment on 14th August, as there are several things my doc wants them to look into, so will hang fire with the herbs until after I've had a medical opinion.
In the meantime, the witch is really tormenting me today. AF has been so much more painful and heavy since my MC too!
I'm having a hot bath soon, then box of chocolates infront of a nice girly DVD. (DH working late). We've got to be able to spoil ourselves when AF flies in haven't we?
How has everyone else's day been? Making any plans for this cycle's BDathon yet?

Lol - BDathon! My OH is poorly at the mo, so not much BDing going on, I'm hoping that it'll clear up by O time.
My OH is also of the 'we'll just not use protection and see how it goes' school of thought, but I'm far too much of a control freak for that!

So I think I'll not bother him with all the details, cervical mucus etc - although I'm sure he'll guess the fertile time when I start coyly coming on to him every other day!

I try not to tell him the CM and OPK details, but he's not daft!

My witch is still here with avengeance today. She's a nasty one this month. Less painful, but still very heavy. I'm hoping she's planning on making it her last visit for 9 months though.
BFPs for all of us please!!!

with my short luteal phase my next fertile time feels ages away and in theory is 3 weeks away so not planned anything at all yet. AF is just going so my 3WW for ovulation will begin, joy!

I've been having 3WW for OV since MC too. Drives me mad. I've just had my reflexologist round, and she's been doing whatever she needs to do to get AF over and done with, and to try to make me OV in 2 weeks. It certainly worked to keep AF flowing. Let's hope she's can give my ovaries the kick up the arse they need too!

hi ya every1!!! hi ya nikki!! well im a bit behind,im cd1 aug6,ive just done a thread aswell b4 i saw this one!! if any1 joins the other i can go in both i use2have 29day cycle,after mc in mar08 i had 2 29day cycles,then a long 38day cycle,so i started charting and opk to c wot was going on,and the cycle av just finished was fine4me,it was 30days cycle,i O day15 and had 15dpo.....better than the mega 38day cycle,im hoping this is it now,hoping im bk2normal,well unless i get a bfp like then obviousley dont wona c period!! starting my persona monitor2moro,fingers x for a bfp this mth...pls...pls...pls let me av a bfp!! guna start weight watchers with a mate in about 3wk,lookin4ward2that aswell,cos i did it few yr ago n lost loads,put it all bk on now and more!!! anyway keep posting eveyone, n takecare x x x

Glad you found us.
Good luck with the weight watchers. I did it about 7 years ago and lost 4 and a half stone! It was great! Only problem was: then I was a bit underweight for years, and had to put some back on after TTC unsuccessfully for a year!!! Grrrrrrr! We just can't win can we?! I did get my BFP though once I reached a good weight. I'm trying to stay at that weight now, and hoping for a another BFP soon.

i know well thats what i did nikki....once i lost the weight and was goin2the gym aswell i went a bit2far,then i moved bk in with parents in a different town so stopped it all,im older and wiser now though and just want2do it for when i do get a bfp after it shouldnt be 2hard2loose baby weight, u did extremlet well!! was that on ww aswell?? its a fab diet and it doesnt take long till uknow how many points everything isso r u tt#2 then nikki?? if so how old is ur child? how old r u if u dont mind me asking,sure u have told me b4 but memeries terrible, im 27 n parnter is 48!! but blokes can go on 4eva cant they with been fertilie etc!!keep posting every1 so i get2know u all
