Melissa as I said in your journal, I find 4d scans creepy to! I am glad I am not the only one, sometimes they looked deformed or lumpy depending on the angle. No offense to anyone here as I Have not seen anyones 4d scan cause some do really come out ok.

Aiimee, I am carrying low, am spotty with weight all in bump and I am having a boy. But my hair is nice. When do you find out?

Mrsp and hollywood I hope the scans go great, hollywood are you finding out the gender? Mrsp as for colours I wouldn't choose a car for "silver" lol there are just way to many out there! Finding your car in a carpark is a nightmare, I speak from experience.

Guppy, I hope the heartburn lets up, I have had it the last 2 nights but am sure it's from eating hot sauce lol. Otherwise for someone who used to have chronic heartburn before pregnancy I haven't had it besides now! I think it might be a cure for me. Sounds like with the burning sensation that it is caused from acid reflux hun.

My DH thinks the 4D scans are creepy too so we're not getting one. Really want to find out the sex though so might consider it some more if LO doesn't cooperate at 20wk scan on 1st April.

Think I also agree about the silver car thing too. We have one and I am always trying to put my key in the wrong car! Although thats only a problem if your memory is as bad as mine and you can't remember where you parked! Do have to admit though that leather type seats are very practical for keeping clean.

We're about to start car hunting, but not sure whether to get one or two new cars. DH needs a new one for work, but my car is a three door so I could do with a 5 door otherwise baby will be facing backward in the front with the air bag turned off.

What do people think about baby being in the front when I can't use DHs car?

Also wanted to say that I got my quadruple test result's back at it came out as a 1 in 20,000 chance for Down's, so although there could still be problems, we're feeling good about that

Melissa_M love the scan pic yippee!!!! Am so excited for mine now!!!!

Holywoodmum - I think we'll have to be monitored after the birth as the levels could logically change - am going to push for mine to be done at the docs too if I have to have more as it's a nightmare as I work nowhere near the hospital. Oooooh my scan is 1.30ish and have an appointment after it so will look out for yours too!!!!!!

Well ladies, scan today was AMAZING!!! I am sooo in love with this little baby
The ultrasound technician thinks it's a GIRL!!! YAY!! So you can put me on team pink
4D ultrasounds really creep me out haha, the baby always looks bumpy or something, i don't know, might be different in person! then again at my ultrasound today a couple times when she scanned the baby's face head-on it looked like a freaky skeleton monster haha I'm terrible, I shouldn't be making fun of my little sweet pea!

Melissa, great pic!! Glad you enjoyed the experience. 4D ones are freaky if you ask me, I don't like the colour!!
Kelly, we're not finding out the gender, partly don't want to, and partly the hospital policy is to not tell!! Mercy when is your scan?
Blossom, my dad's car is a 3 door and we were able to still get the baby seat in to the back OK Easier with a five door, but not impossible with 3!! We're considering a second car, we have a Skoda Fabia, it's small... DH fancies an Octavia Estate - that can be the baby wagon, and the Fabia for his long commute to work...
We're watching Show Me Show Me, DD is standing half way up the steps for her slide and hasn't moved in 10 minutes - she loves it!! Then swimming, then don't really know. It's sunny again here today, so maybe a walk to the play park - still getting DD 'Mile Ready' for Sunday!

i find out 30th march... so not long now!! jus really want to no... i did want a boy at first... but then i wanted a girl... but now im really not bothered... i think when the woman says il be shocked at boy or girl lol!! ... cus then it wil seem so real!!

Charlotte is properly doing my head in - feel awful saying that She's just climbing all over me, elbowing my boobs, standing on my tum - grrr - hate feeling cross with her, but she obviously has no concept of personal space :S

Hollywood don't worry getting cross with our children is something that happens until we're gone. So get used to it, deep down you still love C it's just something we all have to deal with.

philly for maternity wear that has room to grow!

MrsP I don't mind the color of silver but was really looking at the interior not the color so maybe look around a little more and see what's out there. GL with the specialist and scan today!

afm DH is home sick and laying in bed Men are such big babies when it comes to being sick. He doesn't get sick very often but when he does watch out cause he's a major pain! DD got her room almost clean so she has the computer today, she still has under her bed, iykwim to clean
I'm at work so I don't have to deal with either of them being pouty or whiney. LOL I am really looking forward to having a nice weekend though!

Philly I've got my Next maternity jeans on too - loved them last time round The problem I'm having is that most of the maternity clothes I bought last time are a 14 or 16, and I really only need a 12 at the minute, so they're hanging off me a bit - not a problem I'd normally complain about! they're ok in the bump but baggy and slack everywhere else...
Tried on the cropped ones I was planning to wear on holiday in a fortnight and they're huge, so may have to venture round the shops again...
And I had a lush nap today - 2 and half hours - lovely!! Then DD and I walked to the playpark, and got icecream on the way home - I know the lady in the shop, so she did me a tiny on for Charlotte - just a dab of icecream in the top of the cone - it was perfect, lasted her all the way home and didn't make too much mess!!
The round trip was 0.6 miles, including up hill on the way home, so I'm hoping that she can manage the mile on Sunday if there are no hills!!
I think she was only being clingy and annoying earlier cos she was so tired... 2 and a half hours later form was much better
I've just made the cupcakes from the annabel Karmel book - they're yum - just looking for a buttercream icing recipe now - all for me and DH - or maybe C will get a tiny nibble!!

Melissa_M - so happy you got your first ultrasound. Why did they wait this long? Here you have a Ultrasound at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 20 weeks.

I have my 20 week scan on the 29th (even though I will almost be 21 weeks). I had to reschedule due to a business trip next week. Not too long to wait. I an wait to see our baby again. I just absolutely love getting a glimpse.

I just started feeling little kicks just a couple of days ago. My hubby felt him for the first time last night. I was laying on my back, I tried prodding my tummy a little and that did not work. I rollod on my side and jiggled a little and then rolled on my back again and put his hand right on my belly. Baby boy kicked and my hubby felt it. He was amazed!! I can't wait until I can feel more.

Guppy - HOW was your ultrasound today? Were you able to determine the sex??

Hi everyone!
WELL..., Lucy, I am still sat waitin on my hubby getting home as he wasnt able to get the earlier flight! I was gutted, but at least I get him home eventually!
the poor guy has been sat in the airport in Southampton ALL day cos he got there early in the hope he could switch hias flight! he hasnt eaten anythin as he didnt have any cash so i have made him some yummy things for when he arrives in a bit!

ANYWAYS, I have had 3 "ooo look at how big your bump is getting" comments today! and I have to say, it made me stick it out in pride even further heehee!
I let Riley feel my tum this afternoon and he let out a squeal when Little "Rice" kicked bless him he was very confused. BUT it does mean that I wasnt imagining it when I thought I was starting to feel him or her on the outside x x

I am really feeling pregnant now, and I am enjoying it so much, esp as the sickness has gone now! I am praying it doesnt make a late return at any stage lol!
